my go to salmon marinade is the juice from 2 lemons mixed with 1/2 or 2/3 cup sun dried tomato vinegarette - marinate for 1-2hrs (save a little bit to baste on top while grilling - slice enough lemons to put the salmon on with a few extra slices - put them on the grill - place salmon on top - place extra slices on top of salmon

if i don't do that i go with a bbq based marinade - i always keep a ton of different various sauces around to use for marinades

well i dont feel like going anywhere to pick stuff up, so i guess it'll have to be pizza.

why is it that raleigh has chinese delivery on every corner, but in cary there are none?

I was going to say that the good places don't deliver, but then I remembered Jade Garden, in Raleigh does.

i've been in a weird mood lately... bought two big bunches of baby bok choy at the farmer's market on saturday, and over the course of two nights, destroyed it. tonight, i broiled it with olive oil, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and garlic, and ate it with some of that protein-fortified pasta, topped with fresh parm.

grilled chicken breasts - I've done one with a thai ginger marinade, one with a orange ginger sesame marinade, and rubbed one with some seasoning I found in the cabinet + lots of black pepper

they're huge breasts, too

grilled corn
veggie packets (I'm thinking some onions + rosemary potatoes + some cauliflower from the freezer
some brats from the freezer, too

making the most of grill time

^ i know it is so good. i've never eaten at 5 star i keep meaning to - i've heard good things.

right now, neo china is one of the few places i order meat. usually i just get veggie lo mein or some kind of veggie dish and spring rolls from like the cheapy take out chinese places. which is fine its always good!

but neochina just has yummy everything. the chicken is white meat and not chewy/rubbery/questionable

Roast chicken and mashed potatos.

And lots of orange juice. Counteracts the nicotine cravings.

Can't wait to move out of this smokehouse.
