NC State beat Wake 42-27 I think after a couple garbage time TDs against the backups. I'm game for another season after this, as long as the offseason doesn't take 2 or 3 weeks. I want to see returns on the efforts on the recruiting trail.

Apparently still on hangover for the loss to tennessee, the Tide gets off to a slow start finding themselves in a 10-0 hole in the first quarter but manage to make it to halftime with a 10-10 tie. RS Sophomore Star Jackson finally found a rhythm in the second half finishing 17/32 for 304yds, 3 TD and an int while also rushing for 100yds. Junior receiver Julio Jones played a big part in the victory with 5 receptions for 147yds and 2TD.

UP NEXT: Alabama finally returns home to take on the Bull Dogs of Mississippi State in preparation for a road trip to death valley to face the LSU Tigers the following week.

NC State beats #5 Illinois 34-18 in Raleigh. The officials inexplicably don't put the first extra point on the scoreboard for NC State.

The NC State D holds strong against the dual threat Illinois QB, running up a 34-10 lead before taking the foot off the gas in the 4th quarter. Russell Wilson shows poise against the blitz, Jarvis Williams, TJ Graham, and Curtis Underwood all have strong games.

NC State looks to lock down some recruits this week and build momentum for a strong bowl bid.
