That's 2 in a row perkins has given up. He cannot guard Bosh. Cannot guard James. Cannot guard anyone.

I think I could play in the NBA and average 7 free throw attempts a game if I just ran into people, yelled "AY!" and flailed my arms

Ahahaha Wade, two minutes for interference.

^ Wade wasn't going for the ball, he was way too far from it to have a chance. Was clearly going for the trip.

How many games would this series have to go with Miami kicking okc Ass every night before brooks figured out his best 5 does not involve Perkins or fisher?

I'm just mad that people are going to blame this on westbrook shooting when its clearly team defense that isn't giving them a chance to win.

Its like a football team never stopping anybody and blaming the qb for throwing a few picks per game.

If this team had been assembled when wade and miller were in their primes and bosh hadn't morphed into crap it could've been the greatest of all time. Shame to see miller out there like that , he looks worse than some guys in their late 30's/early 40's. He might be doing legitimate long term damage to his body this season.

Next year the thunder will win. It's been an interesting progression really.

2 years ago Durant melted down in the first round to send them home.

Last year it was Westbrook crumbling under the pressure in the WCF.

This year it was Harden melting in the finals (along with sefolosha and ibaka to a slightly lesser extent) and brooks just shitting the bed continuously.

Next year you replace fisher with solid minutes from maynor and your 5 good players all have finals experience (4 of whom should continue to improve, sefolosha already hit his peak).

The only potential problem is Perkins, but with Big Country replacing nazr mohammad during the regular season there is a chance okc will realize he is the chosen one and let him help lead them to a title.

In the meantime Miami could be quite a bit worse as they age and Boston / Chicago should be very formidable opponents next year.

Just hoping Lebron can complete the triple double and maybe even score 30 points.

Kobe in his prime probably goes down to Indiana on this team if you switch him with Lebron. That's debateable but clearly Boston and OKC would have dropped the hammer on them.

Lebron's in the pantheon now.

I'm still waiting for Lebron's lady parts to cramp up again late in the 4th

Battier is the NBA Finals MVP thus far, not even debatable

Part of it is the greatness of Wade/Lebron and to a lesser extent Battier defensively. Harden just hasn't been able to solve them at all. It's not atypical of the Heat. They did the same thing to Carmelo, Paul George, and Paul Pierce on the road to the Finals. You've got to generate your offense in another manner against the Heat, because they don't budge on the wing scoreres.

Harden hasn't been able to solve them because he doesn't get the benefit of the same foul calls that LBJ and Wade get every possession...which is somewhat understandable, since Harden isn't a superstar like LBJ and Wade

when actual superstars like Durant and Westbrook don't get the exact same calls that LBJ and Wade do, you have to face the facts that this is completely rigged

200 players in the NBA had better regular seasons than Battier, so I'm not sure what that means when we're in the NBA Finals

Perkins keeps making the Javale McGhee level wtf plays, and now Kevin Durant won't stop dribbling through traffic.

Come on Tree...give it up.

He's been bull-dozing all series. You going to blame a 25pt beatdown on the refs? You're above that.

FG% 2FG% 3FG% FT% eFG% TS% PPS

Harden49.1% 57.9% 39.0% 84.6% 58.2% 66.0% 1.66

Who is the better scorer? You'd have to really go out on a limb to select Wade.

come on jbrick, i know you've been a Heat fan for all of 2 seasons, but even you can't deny how inconsistent the officiating has been this series

^scoring stats have nothing to do with how refs call the games...Wade's FG% would be a lot worse if he didn't draw as many bullshit fouls, nullifying many of his FG attempts

I just think its some obvious bullshit when a superstar like Durant drives to the basket just as hard as Lebron and Wade, yet doesn't get the same bailout calls as they do
