It's not that I don't like them, it's that the article claimed one kid outplayed the other but the video is just them dunking and swatting shots from kids half their size (one obvious goaltend). I didn't see any of them really playing one on one in the paint except one standing straight up and raising their hands while the other shot over the first. It don't expect it to tell me if the kid will be successful in college, but I was hoping to see some epic high school battles in the paint. Maybe a few rebounds?

He was productive in his time at LSU.

Its just asinine to say that he's not a defensive presence (and probably one of the better ones on our team).

He's had 4 blocks in the last three games, averaging about 7 minutes a game. 2 blocks and several altered shots in the Stanford game when he only played 4 minutes. And that was against a team with a strong inside presence.

Vandy gets a lot of flack, but I respect his effort and what all he's done this year. Bad rebounder for a 7-footer and not exactly an offensive juggernaut...but he throws it down given the opportunity and he fucks shit up around the basket on the defensive end. We're going to need that to continue this year.

Speaking of dunking, has Purvis dunked at all in a game this year? I seem to remember him dunking like crazy in his high school videos. He's had at least a couple opportunities on breaks where he could have thrown it down but chose to lay it up instead.
