But, yeah, what's up with Superboy's ears bleeding from Canary's sonic blast? How could he survive the concussion of, say, a giant explosion or some such if his ears bleed from her cry?

Superboy is supposed to be vulnerable to kryptonite and magic--neither of which is contained in the Canary's cry. Unless someone can give me a meaningful explanation for his injury, it seems that the director and writers didn't really think that one through.

I decided to watch during commercial breaks of another show. I watched Lex get a bullet between the eyes and survive. Flipped the channel.
