this may be old news, but i'm not searching. there's a new free map called chill out or deep freeze something. i didn't know about it until i tried to play last night and it kept telling me that i didn't have all the required DLC. i thought my xbox was screwed up or something until i went to the downloads area to see what was up. then i was like oh sweet. haven't played it yet though because everyone kept vetoing it.

You say it's never officially quiet because of "chatter" from people, but when people are playing Halo or Smash they are ALWAYS fucking YELLING about some bullshit going on in the game. I would go in there to study, and these study groups about 8 deep could be heard throughout almost the entire floor

For me, it got to the point that the library was the worst place to study, because there were too many people in there

Yea, update adds new achievements, improved cheating detection, new versions of levels (No shield doors on snow bound or epitaph) aswell as a different ranking system. All exp is now gametype specific.

You keep your total exp and highest rank still visible on the service record, but there is now an exp counter starting at zero for every gametype, and the rank icon (colonel/brigadier/general) is now entirely based off total exp in that playlist, not highest skill. (Though your skill # is still visible for each gametype)

Also they took out Bigteam, rocket race, and head to head

@parentcanpay: I'm sitting in the Learning Commons right now and there are at least 15 people surrounding the different game systems, either playing or watching, and they are quite quiet. The noise from study groups and people walking through far exceeds anything the gamers are doing.
