Z. Miller or K. Winslow?

Miller is a top 10 TE right now but Winslow is the more explosive player, just has missed some games this season.

So:

a.) Who do I start this week?:
b.) Which has more long-term value throughout the season?

^^ I dunno... I'm starting Bo Scaife instead of Winslow. I'm worried that they might limit his touches this week b/c of the staph controversy.

I just traded Steven Jackson and David Garrard for Randy Moss and Matt Schaub.

I was really thin at wide receiver and the trade still leaves me with Michael Turner and Steve Slaton at running back.

Thoughts?

I don't like it. Schaub is definitely an improvement over Garrard, but is slight...and while Moss is usually a #1 WR, this year he's not even top 10.

Meh, if you improved your team, it was worth it...but I'd have to know about starting slots, keeper or not, scoring, etc. to tell you more.

that is one of the those trades that will either be totally worth it or not at all

start 4 @ W/R

J. Lewis vs BAL
L. White vs GB
C. Benson vs JAX
McGahee vs CLE
S. Slaton vs MIN
D. Avery vs ARI
S. Holmes vs WAS (if he even plays, which remains to be seen)

Now they are saying that Addai might be splitting carries all game with Rhodes, so pick 1 RB:

Addai vs. NE
Fargas vs. Atl

Kind of in a bind here, Chargers bye week, Rivers has been my starting QB all season.

I've got Derek Anderson (v Ravens). JaMarcus Russell (v Cardinals) is pretty much the only free agent available worth a shit.

What to do, what to do?

I'd play Anderson. Eventually that offense has to start doing something again. I think he has far more upside.

alright i'm having a real tough time with this one:
Matt Forte is already starting for me. i need some help picking two out of these:

Earnest Graham vs. KC (i know, chiefs are terrible, but graham might be forced to play fullback)
Brandon Jacobs vs. Dallas
Marshawn Lynch vs Jets
Clinton Portis vs. Steelers (the ONLY reason I'm not sure about starting him this week is because he didn't practice hardly any this week b/c of an ankle and Pittsburgh's defense is pretty stout)

and if you're wondering why my team is stacked at RB, it's an 8 person league and most the guys didn't know what the hell they were doing.

Jesus that is loaded even for a 8-league team.......you should win every week.

Dunn is out right? Why wouldn't Graham be the best start?

You can randomly pick 2 of those 4 and be golden.

^^apparently tampa bay's fullback is questionable, so graham might see time there and who knows who would be tailback. but yeah i probably will start him

and yeah my team is loaded. and if my all star running back committee wasn't enough, my wideouts are randy moss, roddy white, plaxico burris, and desean jackson. not to mention owen daniels and kellen winslow at tight end and drew brees at QB

i'm 7-1 right now. needless to say i feel pretty good about my team...

^ Why is there no skill involved. Sure you might not have to do as much research in order to find the lower tier guys who can make an improvement to your team, but at the same time I think a league can be just as competitive, if not more so with less teams.
While I don't like 6 team leagues by any means, an 8 or 10 team league can still be harder then a 12 team. You have a lesser chance of owners slacking off when they drop in the standings as its easier to get back in it, you also have to work to have a more skilled roster. They are just different games.

Addai will probably be giving some of his carries up to Rhodes, while McFadden is out and Michael Bush isnt getting many touches for the Raiders

and apparently Michael Bennett might get some carries for Tampa Bay this weekend, but I still dont think that he'll get enough to make starting Graham a question

okay, our league also plays individual defensive players (1 pt/tackle, 3 int, 3 sack, 6 td, etc...)

I just got offered Mewelde Moore and Darren McFadden for Patrick Willis

my other RBs are Stewart, Willie Parker, Larry Johnson , chris johnson,

we have 2 RB slots and a flex

should i do it? How long will McFadden be out?

News from around the NFL this morning...

Quote :
" Hightower will start

The Arizona Cardinals will start running back Tim Hightower against the St. Louis Rams, according to FoxSports.com.

This means that Edgerrin James becomes the backup, and his fantasy value is waning. Hightower has been the man at the goal-line the whole year anyway, and he certainly has a shot to pound one in against the Rams. "

Quote :
"Jackson will start

Adam Schefter of NFL Network has stated that Steven Jackson will start today against the Cardinals.

Jackson stated on his personal website Saturday that he was going to play, and should be penciled into fantasy lineups in a manageable match-up against Arizona following this morning's confirmation. "

Quote :
"Moss expects to play

Despite being listed as a game-time decision for Monday night, Redskins wideout Santana Moss says he fully expects to play in the game, according to ESPN.com.

Moss is battling a sore hamstring, and he reported that he felt better as the week went on. He has been outstanding for fantasy owners this year, with 42 catches for 658 yards and five touchdowns. "

"Wayne expected to play

Wide receiver Reggie Wayne is expected to play tonight against New England, according to Adam Schefter of the NFL Network.

Wayne said yesterday he is ready to go. Coupled with this report, we expect him to play well against New England, who is rocking a banged up secondary"

out of those I'd go with Addai, just keep an eye on him before the game. If the colts decide to hold Addai out, at least you have Rhodes to put in

and for the fourth time

I would bench Mewelde - Willie Parker is going to be back, so Moore's workload will be down a lot

Fargas: he will get all the work with DMC still hurting and ATL isn't good against the run. Addai is not a sure play.

Farve: I think Pitt will run more on Wash with Parker and Moore.

S. Moss vs. T.O.

Moss is not 100% and against a stingy Steelers pass D, but then again he doesn't have Brad Johnson or Brooks Bollinger chucking the rock to him...

Figured as much. The team is desperate for LJ to come back. The rb's are the ones listed above, Stewart, and LJ. At least hes somehow in the massive tie for 2nd place (4 teams at 5-3, 3 at 4-4).
