Got my KD "back" up to 1.03 tonight....played with a bunch of White Warriors....some people were getting PISSED at me doing the Javelin glitch, even though there are in fact suicide bombers when you talk about the reality of modern warfare...accuracy is above 20% now though

I also hope I proved to dfShadow that I can indeed go 12:4 (for example) with actual guns, and not using the Javelin glitch

yeah when you go to barracks, there is a section called leaderboards and it ranks your xbox live friends, and if you hit Y, it'll sort by world rankings. Right now I'm ranked 44,335 in kills, and 39,110 in total score. Should get out more...

you seem to be acting like the javelin glitch is some superman shit and it automatically wins the game or something, when in fact its far from that and again, requires you to die each time you use it, as well as not being able to shoot a gun at all

once the patch comes out people can go back to complaining about campers and noobtubes and lag and marathon and whatever else prevents them from getting a killstreak up or kills them

and i'm not trying to make some personal attack on you, i just think people are overreacting way too much over the javelin glitch...at least in Team Death Match

your 1:1 minimum claim is total bs, especially on any map where you can shoot somebody from a safe distance of 20-30 feet away...also you cant climb ladders or climb through windows or even fall from higher than about 3 feet without having to re-arm it...i've had people right beside me with riot shields survive the blast...stop trying to exaggerate its effectiveness...thumpers and noobtubes are just as much bullshit

i've played against people using it on big maps, and the javelin faggot still stomped ass every time. if it wasn't such a big deal then people wouldn't get suspended from xbox live for 2 days at a time for using it. the fact of the matter is that more often than not it's extremely effective at wiping out everyone on the other team, and you're wrong if you try to act like it's not that big of an issue.

its just not very difficult to defend...have your team split up...if you see somebody with a javelin out, shoot them, since all they can do is knife...etc...again i'm talking about TDM...i can see how it would be a clusterfuck on something like headquarters...but i'm talking about TDM which is about all I play

but if 3-4 of your team are all camped up in one room, then yeah I'm sure it would suck if a javelin guy got in the room...so don't everybody camp in the same place, problem solved

did you have COD4? i played for about 7-8 days total online time of that, prestiged 3 or 4 times...point is, you play long enough, and you figure shit out...oh you start a match and shortly thereafter you hear a huge explosion? ok, dont have too many green dots all together on that map

i WANT the patch to come out...that way i'll never be tempted to even use the javelin glitch...but i would recommend before the patch comes out, everybody try it at least once, because its fun as fuck, and it is a video game, the idea is to have fun, so you're only doing yourself a disservice if you don't try it out at least once

have a class with javelin and semtex...equip the javelin...hold down the button to throw the semtex, but before you let go, hit the Y/triangle button to go back to the javelin...thats all there is to it...oh and like i said you cant change weapons, you can only knife, and jumping or climbing over anything or up any ladder cancels it

no. this is the first COD game i have owned. i played WaW some at my friend's place before that. and i can stay away from someone myself, but i can't tell my teammates to not flock together. as a result, the javelin guy is gonna rack up kills. i don't care if it's fun. anything that gives you a leg up on another player outside of your own skill is cheap. i don't like playing that way.

fair enough, i don't disagree...hopefully at some point they'll fix the rock glitch on Afghan...then maybe they'll crack down on people nuke boosting...then people will find other glitches...if they had released a beta version of this game maybe they would've found out about the glitch, since tons of people have found out about it in the first month of release...kinda like how in WAW you could get underneath the map on one board on the beta...and they knew about it...and fixed it for the actual game release

I wonder if they'll do anything about the ladder on Highrise...was that intended to be in the game or not

They did not fix getting under the map after the game released. That is exactly why I quit the game after a few months, because I could not get in a game without being killed by someone under the map. After they released a patch, I went back to playing and the very first game I got killed by someone under the map and I never played it again.

Rat Soup get used to people glitching in these games. When they ban the Javelin glitch, someone will find another (crawl under the map, get to an inaccessible area). Just enjoy the game for what it is....a game and have fun. It doesnt have to bother you if you dont let it.

^^there is a rock in afghan near the cave thAt if you jump up and down on it a bunch in the right spot you will fall in it and no one can see you but you can shoot and see everyone running by. I saw a kid on my team do it on hardcore so I just killed him everytime he tried it. Plus he team killed me first because he said I was squatting over the spot and I wouldn't move to accomodate his cheating.
