My longest drought I can remember was 8 months before I was dating again. Yeah it made me miss being in a relationship at times when I saw couples doing "couples" things. I also refrained from sex, random meaningless sex, because I didn't want to get in the habit of just fucking, because once you start, you just crave it constantly.

i honestly dont like being single. i still get laid and all that, i just dont like the lifestyle. i enjoy having a partner in crime. this has often caused me to "force myself" into relationships with the wrong people. im learning to be more patient with things as ive gotten older tho

yeah, i'm over the single, random hook up lifestyle. I mean if and when it happen then it's all good at the time and i enjoy it for what it is but it's not something i go out seeking every weekend.

It shouldn't be (and often isn't) a foreign idea. Introverted females are going to be roughly the same way. An extrovert might always be in your ear asking you (what you think) are stupid questions. I've had girlfriends like this and it's awful. "What are you thinking?" "What are you being so quiet?" "Are you just going to sit there and read all day?"

For me, finding someone that didn't need constant validation and conversation was important. Sitting around and doing your own thing shouldn't be awkward.

I don't understand why some people can't be alone. Lots of girls seem to be like that. Some guys do too. I have a friend who cannot be alone, it seems to drive him crazy. If he's got a girlfriend, he's spending every minute of every day with her. When he doesn't have a girlfriend, he constantly surrounds himself with people. I don't understand it, that shit would drain me.
