If one of them has to lose, Texas losing helps us more.

If Miami wins tonight they have a good chance to be top 50 RPI with a loss against FSU. They won't move ahead of us as long as we beat virginia.

Yeah I think a Miami win tonight and then loss tomorrow is ideal. The committee can't be oblivious to us beating them twice, right? As long as they lose to FSU and we beat UVA they shouldn't get in over us (I hope ).

Agreed. The less competition we have on the bubble, the better. RPI be damned. I can't imagine that the committee will all of a sudden look at us with a new perspective because we happen to be 3-8 or whatever against the top 50 RPI. They are going to look past the surface and see our wins are against the 48 and 49 ranked teams. Hopefully, they would also look past the surface and see that a bunch of our top 50 losses are against the RPI top 5.
