I've got to say that was one of the best games in recent memory. Finally some March Madness again. The 2003 game was ok, but Syracuse and Kansas didn't really play all that great in that game.

1998-2008 NC games
1998 - Kentucky over Utah (pretty good game, Utah choked it away towards the end when they couldn't hit anything)
1999 - UCONN over Duke (really great game between the two best teams that year)
2000 - Michigan State over Florida (blah game)
2001 - Duke over Arizona (i think everyone knew that Duke would win)
2002 - Maryland over Indiana (that was one of the worst played NC games I've ever seen)
2003 - Syracuse over Kansas (Syracuse was in control for most of the game, but KU made a strong comeback and had a chance to send it to overtime. Overall good game, but sloppily played in certain points)
2004 - UCONN over Georgia Tech (that game sucked so much ass, that I was able to focus on writing a paper 10 minutes into the first half)
2005 - UNC over Illinois (decent game between the two best teams that year, but nothing really great)
2006 - Florida over UCLA (snoozefest)
2007 - Florida over tOSU (snoozefest pt. II)
2008 - Kansas over Memphis (a thrilling come from behind victory. this game was back and forth for much of it, and both teams played pretty well throughout. KU needed a miracle and got one during the 20th anniversary year of Danny Manning and the Miracles)

hey man as soon as the unc game finished i said roy threw that game, i had no idea that he would show up the next game and root for kansas, that is just blatant and idiotic, that guy deserves all the shit he gets
but i kind of see what hes trying ot do, he hurt alot of feelings when he left so hes trying to mend some relationships

I have to agree with you there Brass.

All in all this was everything I hoped the NC game would be. Comebacks, trick shots, collapses, and plenty of "wtf are you thinking player X!!" moments.

Hats off to Bill Self, KU boys, and the school as a whole. It gives me hope that maybe one day, maybe, we can return to that place of national glory.

i wouldnt be suprised if that was the game plan cause that was awful teamwork
they deserved to lose, and roy never stepped in to stop the bleeding or make any changes
he just left them out there so they could fail, he had more than enough talent to beat
memphis and kansas combined,

i can understand pulling for your old team....hell i can even understand sitting in their section, but wearing the fucking logo of the team that just annihilated and embarrassed your hand picked team is something that just doesn't sit well with me, and i can only imagine how his players feel. in his quest to mend fences with kansas fans, i think he just caused a rift with a lot of unc fans

and i'll probably be over this by the end of the day, but it just seems to be in poor taste
