My bad, it was in your other "I'm going to complain about those nasty negroes" thread, where you wrote this gem:

Some races are more prone to commit crimes than others.
Some races are better at certain sports than others.
There is statistical evidence to back this up too." |

And where in that do I say that black people are genetically inferior?

Serial killers make up less than one percent of all crimes committed, and so that's not a statistically relevant topic.
Criminologists don't pay attention to serial killers at all when studying crimes and how they're related to demographics.
So, your attempt to come up with an analogy to justify your racism is flawed.
Get out, or just admit you're a racist so we can continue with the discussion.
I know it feels really bad to admit it to yourself, but you should. 4/8/2012 10:49:53 PM |

I don't think that black people commit more crimes because they are black.
I think it has more to do with their environment.
There is nothing racist about the fact that this happens.
So instead of black people thinking its some big racist conspiracy that black people make up a higher % of the prison population than they do the actual population, and that thats out of whack and there must be something going on, how about they try and find out why black people are committing more crimes and go from there and try and solve the problem instead of blaming other people.
There is statistical evidence to show more black people get arrested for crimes. Sure, some of it has to do with race, just as I'm sure some whites getting arrested have to do with race.
You can't call someone a racist for pointing out god damn statistical evidence about a certain part of the population.
Like I said, most illegal immigrants are hispanic.
There is nothing racist about saying or claiming that, its just a statistical fact. 4/8/2012 11:00:00 PM |

Saying that, holy shit I'm tired of listening every racist, bigot and/or redneck give the redundant, inaccurate and fucking annoying rant about how there is a difference between niggers and black people. The worst part is, these racist pricks say it as if it's some enlightening shit.

I know how HOAs work. However, suing the HOA doesn't make things right, especially when that means you're holding every homeowner responsible for one person's action. 4/9/2012 12:18:17 PM |

You are a simpleton if you think the motivation for suing the HOA is to "make things right". I'm pretty sure they aren't trying to punish the residents either. that's just how HOA's work.
How about putting the blame where it's due? The HOA introduced a liability telling residents to contact Zimmerman if they had problems. You contact the police if you have problems. 4/9/2012 12:25:00 PM |
wdprice3 BinaryBuffonary 45912 Posts user info edit post |
Why sue the HOA? Cause you want money or for some reason you think it will make things right.
The HOA said to contact the police first; Zimmerman second and told him to work with the police, not be the police. They never said Zimmerman was a cop or the only go-to. Zimmerman was willing to aid the entire neighborhood by being proactive about security. Unfortunately, he made a huge mistake. He made the mistake. legally, yes, the HOA can be held liable; but that doesn't make it right or sensible.
Quote : | "I'm pretty sure they aren't trying to punish the residents either. that's just how HOA's work." |
Doesn't matter. Not wanting to, but still doing so, is punishing the residents, many of whom likely side with the victim's family. Now suing the HOA makes them victims too.

The government gives the HOA power. The homeowner's are typically forced to join and pay the HOA. Every homeowner doesn't vote or approve of the HOA board's actions. They are at the board's will

And the HOA likely has insurance to cover damages.

It's more about it being a shameless money grab and less about whether or not the HOA is liable (since it is according to the documentation).
edit: if they need the money for funeral expenses and what not then I'm not really opposed to the notion for the record. However, I do not, and never have supported the abuse of such systems to make a quick buck.

just because the HOA nominated a guy to keep track of all the crime and that particular guy is now in a situation they need to be sued.
i built a house in downtown raleigh. all my neighbors let me know of crimes they encountered and we kept a running list of things that happened so we could keep up with it and discuss with police during neighborhood meetings.
i bet boylan heights has a person that keeps up with their crimes. the crime rate is high there because everyone knows they hate guns. 4/9/2012 7:39:39 PM |

Quote : | "You don't think he had an honest and reasonable belief that the guy was defending himself when all of the facts between the confrontation between he and the kid aren't present, and when there is a lot of doubt as to how the confrontation went down? " |
Maybe he did. That's why he should go in front of a court and plead his case. There is zero reasonable doubt that he shot Trayvon. Thus, there is plenty of evidence to charge him with manslaughter.
Quote : | "He has more than enough circumstantial evidence to introduce reasonable doubt." |
Reasonable doubt only applies to showing that the defendant actually killed the victim. It does NOT apply to the affirmative defense. Clearly you haven't googled that term yet.
Quote : | "Not to mention an affirmative defense only applies to a court trial and not for an arrest. That's why many people who claim self-defense aren't arrested." |
Then all anyone ever needs to do is claim self-defense, because, in your fucked up world, that means they can't be charged. Google. Affirmative. Defense.
Quote : | "Keep in mind that the investigators need something to solidify their belief to the jury that Zimmerman was acting more as a vigilante and not as a concerned neighbor." |
No. All they need is evidence that he killed Trayvon in order to bring him up on charges for killing Trayvon.
Quote : | "Otherwise you're really requiring every case of self-defense to require a trial." |
Because that's kind of how it is. Only in obvious cases do they not bring charges. This is anything but an obvious case.
Quote : | "The prosecution has to show that Zimmerman acted with that of a guilty mind (Mens rea), otherwise the most they could try him for is manslaughter." |
Right. ANd they fucking SHOULD try him for manslaughter, because that's what this case boils down to. Only idiots like God and McDouche think Zimmerman should be charged with murder.
Quote : | "You're making a lot of assumptions with that claim." |
No, I'm really not. If you don't think Zimmerman was racially profiling in his neighborhood, then you are truly dumber than I thought.
Quote : | "Do you know what Zimmerman did when he approached Trayvon? Who was on top of who? Who threw the first punch? Who was screaming for help?" |
What the fuck does this have to do with what you quoted? Exactly, nothing.
Quote : | "When there is enough evidence to do so." |
There's plenty of evidence. The dude admitted to killing Trayvon. That's enough for manslaughter at a bare minimum.
Quote : | "There is statistical evidence to show more black people get arrested for crimes." |
Yes. it's called racial profiling and socioeconomic class. Not race.
Quote : | "maybe kids will learn from all of this that starting a fight with someone 100 pounds bigger than you is not going to end pretty." |

^^ The Martin camp says it's unfair that Zimmerman is free, able to express his views like that, and solicit money.... were the situation reversed, Trayvon would have been locked up from day 1, unable to make a website like the one Zimmerman made.
sidenote: On that website, under albums, there is the "Long Live Zimmerman" picture. That graffiti was spraypainted on Ohio State's Black Cultural Center building. Poor taste, in my opinion.
