I just went back and read through this thread as that last drive was happening yesterday. Plenty of lols at the moment that Wallace got deep on Mitchell.

I love that we played our D game and still walked away with a road victory over a team that is currently tied for the 6th seed in the AFC.

That's back to back 12-13 play 80+ yard drives when we had to have it for Cam. I'm blown away with how far he has come as a quarterback from his rookie year.

Just a heads up for you guys

If NO & CAR split their 2 games & NO loses to TB, then CAR & NO can have the same record & CAR could get the 1st round bye

Wouldn't hold my breath on the Saints losing at home to TB in a game with a 1st round bye on the line, but it is possible to not sweep them & still get a bye

Saints losing @ St Louis between our two games vs them is a better chance than them losing to Tampa IMO. Rams are playing tough these days, especially at home. Quinn and Long can get to Brees.

And anyone saying the Saints aren't tougher at home at night has never been to a game there. 12-0 in last 12 primetime home games.

I think we are in trouble @NO.

I just dont like the matchup. We are really strong against the run but NO doesn't rely on the run. They will just spread us out to negate our pass rush and pick on our weak secondary. Jimmy graham is such a tough matchup for us.

On the other side the saints are stingy against the pass this year so we will have trouble throwing. They are really bad against the run but we haven't been able to run very effectively this year except with cam

Could see thid being like a 27 - 16 type loss.

Conference record comes after common opponent record so if we split against the saints. Seattle beats the saints and the rest of the games are wins by both teams then we would be the winner of the division due to better common opponent record

Just wanted to throw this out there. That is NOT helmet to helmet.

Neither the Dolphins player or Luke's head snapped back. If anything the Dolphins player's head moved forward from getting a forearm to the chest.

We lost to the cards and bills, which they will have won, and they lost to the pats and jets, which we will have won. Still comes down to conf record.

Yes I mentioned that. But they also beat the cardinals and bills.

Not counting games against each other, we have 12 common games wit the saints. If everything plays out like that post, we will both be 9-3 in common games.

I'd be worried about Arizona catching us if we can't beat NO for the division, but then I look at their upcoming schedule and they will lose at least 2 more games. I think we've got the 5 seed on lock as long as we don't lose to anyone we shouldn't.

Saints are more likely to lose to STL, especially after what they did to the Bears. We really need them to fall apart or something, we are in bad shape in conference record compared to them right now, and tiebreakers are most likely going to be settled there (assuming we split with them)

the Katrina Bowl game being flexed bothers me because of the atmosphere on the road. those are games we're going to have to learn to win, though, if we get in as a wild card, so I've changed my mind and decided "BRING IT ON" is the best attitude to take.

Arizona still looms dangerously, but if we win the games we should, we can finish 11-5 and be in really good shape. if we split with NO, 12-4 and then conference record (likely) screws us. sweep NO, and it's probably #2 seed (unless we do stupid crap like losing to TB or ATL). if we lose to the Jets at this point, that's just a shameful orange soda

According to NFL media he was positive for weed, not PEDs, which put him at Level 3 of the substance abuse program that triggered the automatic 1 year suspension under the CBA.

I don't know how that appeal gets overturned but what do I know.
