yeah that place is slightly expensive, but i'm still learning the neighborhood and don't really know of many places that deliver here.

the short ribs are yummy. there mac and cheese is delicious, but i feel like getting something like that is just a bad idea.

but it's 50 degrees and rainy here, so i'm in the mood for warm, comfort food.

I think Domino's wins tonight, even with the usually awful pizza I can load up on free cinna stix and coke. hooray

chicken not as good as usual. i mean, it was good, but everyone told me that using egg in the marinade made it like awesome and soooo juicy. it didn't really do anything. and it seemed drier than usual.

usually i just use lea and perrins and then add other ingredients as i feel like. today i used egg, apple cider vinegar and a bunch of spices. added a little lea and perrins.

it just wasn't super duper phenomenal like everyone said.

^i know how that feels.

khcadwal the best way to get juicier chicken is by brining, then marinating.

dinner for me was going to be ground turkey stuffed peppers of some sort. instead, it's the last slice of leftover pizza.

or just don't cook chicken breasts. i only grill wings, thighs, and sometimes legs. i don't brine or anything like that and it's never dry.

the breast is just dry.

yeah, i prefer dark meat. but srsly, brining makes some damn good white meat. (turkey, chicken, shrimp, pork)
