^^I go with ninja pro because you don't really need that extra melee distance if your enemy can't hear you coming AND you're moving really quickly.

^lightweight gives you that much needed added speed bonus which really pays off. In situations where someone does see me, I'm generally moving fast enough that i've already knifed them and moved onto the next target before they have time to react. Its insane how fast you run. Also, since you're running so quick its hard to get hit by predator missiles, and if there is an air strike or AC130 you can run indoors quickly.

I unlocked the Desert Eagle tactical knife last night....cant wait to have a knife dual with Golovko tonight

If we are on the same team lets have a competition to see who gets the most knife kills...only pistols and knife kills are allowed.

Patch is going through certification now:

Version 1.06 of the game will not only do away with that awful bit of frustration, but will also address two other notable exploits in the multiplayer experience:
• Fixes the Javelin glitch (thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster!)
• Fixes unlimited care packages glitch
• Fixes areas where players could exploit geography (e.g. hide inside rocks in Afghan)

For my last match i went 11:9 with 4 assists on Afghan...I have a nice class for that map with Riot Shield, M93 Raffica Akimbo, Scavenger Pro, Danger Close Pro, Commando Pro, Martyrdom, Claymore, Stun x2

Its nice that I can get into the bunker, plant a claymore, and guard another direction with my shield...if I kill somebody, I pick up another claymore with scavenger pro and plant it, rinse repeat...had 3 claymores planted at once at one point...then I'm outside the cave and some dude runs up with a javelin glitch and blows me up...so I come back with a javelin and blow up him and one of his buddies...then go back to that class...for the record though, I defended the javelin glitch blast successfully from the cave every time i had my riot shield out

To prestige means to go past level 70 and start back over at level 1? What would be the benefits of doing this? I'm assuming an icon just pops up beside your user name and you start over with earning everything?

Yeah, they have prestige challenges now. It keeps track of ALL of your kills with guns, killstreaks etc. And it rewards points from that. Although I think even those have their limits. Hell my M4 has a master challenge of 2500 kills that I'm inching my way to.

i guess at least in this game, you have an emblem/title to prove that you beat some of the more difficult/rare challenges, if you decide to prestige (since you would lose the challenge complete).

I'm also having a hard time on whether to prestige or not. I didn't in CoD4 but then again I started playing that alot later than most. What gets me is the guys that have already prestiged 10 times. I mean damn even with completeing majority of the challenges how the hell can you already have that much under your belt? It definitely is worth it. Running around like crazy and being able to aim down your sites almost instantly is definitely worth it also climbing up ladders faster is nice. Plus if you aren't level 70 already the added bonus XP is good too. Unfortunately I waited until level 70 to use them.

you can only have two claymores at a time, just fyi...if you plant three, then the one you planted first will explode.
