Well, that doesn't necessarily mean he's eliminated us. He lives in Clayton. Often times recruits don't schedule "official" visits to schools they can drive to in a few minutes. I'm not saying he hasn't eliminated us, I just don't think that's enough to conclude that he has.

i don't give a shit about being PC. however, there's a very real (and very fickle, b/c these are teenagers) reputation game that goes on in college basketball. we also know that recruits do read the forums, and do sometimes take them personally. there has also, at least seemingly, been a huge surge in top prospects w/ muslim names lately.

so those three points made, i'd personally prefer it if we didn't immediately make a name for ourselves as people who will make fun of muslim-sounding names.

you're right, you can say whatever you want. that doesn't make it a good idea.

i also only used you as an example (that's what "e.g." means). i was more making a statement that i hope our student body doesn't react the way that you did, however acceptable you found it. now that we're here though go ahead and take it personally.
