^ Kid's name is Kevin Hart and you can google the full story, but the short answer is that he pretended like he was being recruited by some big schools, duped his coach, media, etc and had a press conference where he chose Cal over Oregon. Come to find out none of the schools recruited him. Some awesome trolling by this guy, plus he looks like a caveman.

If teams totally key on Warren with their defensive gameplan (and at this point they'd have to be insane not to) then I think there's a shot he comes back for a junior season.

I really like our class though, all 3 guys are already good with potential to improve. It won't be top 5, but somewhere around 10-15 is solid considering we likely only lose Warren and Vandenberg for the '14-'15 season

With this draft class setting up to be crazy deep, it may not make any sense for Warren to jump unless he's 100% sure he's going in the first round. It would be awesome if we somehow kept the entire lineup we have this year (minus Vandy) and added our 4 new guys next year. Imagine actually having 12 guys in a regular rotation. Our front line would still be weak/inexperienced, but we'd have a stellar crop of perimeter players.

yeah i don't see warren coming back another year. hopefully lacey is as good as rumored and he can step in to fill TJ's shoes for a year or two. the rest of our team should be pretty talented at that point.

Exactly. CJL almost left after his sophomore year and DID leave after his junior year. TJ almost left last year, so he WILL leave this year. Bad example.

Seriously...save yourself some time and just assume TJ is a 5th year senior and there is no possibility of him even being able to come back.

^ It's not a bad example. CJL considered leaving after his freshman year too and Gott/Yow had to convince him and Brown to stay while Harrow bitched out. You act as if you are TJ's mom and already know his answer. If he does not play well this year, then it makes no sense for him to leave as he'll just end up in Europe or the D-league like the rest of the recent NC State guys.

Any consideration during CJL's freshmen year was due to a coaching change.

I'm just telling you like it is. TJ was very close to leaving this past year and told the coaching staff he would give them one more year. It would take monumental suckage on his part to even think about coming back...which isn't going to happen. He'll be gone after this year...deal with it.

If he isnt gonna go first round he may stay and with how stacked the draft appears its going to be that may be a possibility. Also wonder if he will take into consideration that brown and leslie both left early and are both out of the league now. I still assume he is gone after this year, but its not as set in stone as everyone thinks.
