Luckily, I don't give a fuck. I'm not here to make friends on a messageboard.

I'm here to state the obvious, be right, and move on with my life.

If you're here to be wrong then so be it. I gave up trying to change people's minds long ago, in the end they will be wrong and God will judge them for that.

Yeah JaMarcus Russell only started for two and half years as the worst QB maybe ever in the history of the NFL. He didn't get any leeway did he?

Look people hate Vick because he is a child-molester, thug, dog-killer, etc. not because he is a negro.

Jamarcus sucked a big one, that wasn't good old American fashioned racism that was legit suckage.

They just kept playing him because he had a huge contract and a huge arm so they were praying he might get better.

It's not just Vick, its typical of mostly all black QB's. Everyone wants a black RB or LB but no one wants a black QB for whatever reason.

Most people don't want black head coaches either but you really can't argue with that one because black head coaches have only recently had much success in football. I think a lot of that comes from them having less opportunities/experience until recently but there could be other factors.

Anyway Russell is a really good QB period not just a really good black QB and we are really lucky to have him.

I'd sneak ice in if they quit providing that too.

I bet I could get creative and get a 6 pack in, but liquor bottles are easier.

I cringe thinking about Obama taxes and then the revenue lost because we don't sell booze.

BTW, on almost all of those "heaves" he got drilled because our Oline sucked cock yesterday so what the fuck else do you want from him?"

Shocker, you took a small part of my entire statement and are making a big deal about it when it takes the rest of the statement for the snippet you took out to make full sense. Typical message board lack of critical thinking. I admitted that the play calling forced RW into situations where he had to make too many throws down field. But why would you bother discussing that when you can get all blustery on a message board? And you're god damned right I'm complaining about throws that ultimately resulted in stupid interceptions. Did you watch the game? A lot of these throws weren't put where only our receiver could get them. They were heaves and it took college level DB play and fantastic WR play to bail him out. 1st and 10 with 3 timeouts and 1:37 left and you throw a soft ball up into double coverage? Why wouldn't I be pissed about that decision?

Meh...we played pretty much like I expected us to play this year, minus a pretty good defense. I thought we would have a better defense this year, but still struggle...I'm a content with our D.

Our offense lives and dies by the long ball. We drop a pass here and there, but Wilson throws A TON of 50/50 balls that our receivers make great catches on. Bible needs to do something with this offense. I remember a quick slant we completed on 4th down in the 2nd quarter (pretty sure it was the drive that Wilson later threw the endzone interception) and thought to myself, "why the fuck don't we run more of those plays??" Our o-line was obviously struggling yesterday, so we needed more quick developing plays. And we also can't sit there and hope our WRs continue to make big plays for the rest of the season. We were also struggling to run it up the middle against their defense (with the exception of that big run)...we needed some misdirection and more runs to the outside. Our backs are quick/fast...they won't always make it to the corner, but they do more often than not. I personally felt yesterday's game was coached horribly on the offensive side.

I originally thought when we had to kick that field goal to go up 17-0 after that great field position that it was going to come back to bite us in the ass that we didn't get a TD there and essentially put the first nail in the coffin. I think I was pretty much correct...but it turns out we had many moments like that in the game. We had SO MANY opportunities to really take control of this game...but we never did. I put this game solely on the shoulders of the offense. We kept giving the ball back to V-tech and we didn't get our defense a lot of time to rest...which was huge because they were chasing Taylor around all day.

In regards to the defense...they pretty much did their job today. Their only downfall was that they had a really tough time bottling up Tyrod. We pretty much shut them down the first half and gave the game to our offense to put away...but they didn't. They looked tired in the 2nd half and Taylor was just running all over the place...most defenses would have had a really tough time with that.

I still think we're at the top of the middle-tier in the ACC...which isn't saying much because the ACC absolutely blows. I think if our offensive play-calling can improve then we can move up to that top tier...but I don't know if Bible has it in him. I hope he does.

i'm still pumped about our team this year. I think the next 2 games should be wins (which makes us bowl eligible) and we have a good shot at being in charlotte on dec. 4th.

the only games i'm worried about are the FSU, Clemson, and UNC games

Granted, i know the games have to be played, but i think we should be favored (and should win if we play like we have the first 5 games) in all the other games (and maybe 1 or 2 of the afore-mentioned games)

so that makes us 8-4 at worst. not a bad year. although with the way we started i hope we can get a win or two from the toss-up games (FSU, Clemson, UNC)

we had 3 interceptions, tons of dropped passes, shitty second half tackling, a kickoff run back against us, tyrod playing like a god in the second half, and we STILL had the lead late and several chances to win this game. I wasn't expecting to beat either of the Tech team this year, and I certainly wasn't expecting to be 4-1 going into BC. I wish we would have played to our potential and won on Saturday, but I love this team and I think they can win a lot more games this year. So bring on BC, bitches!

On good note. We have a favorable schedule coming up and after the bye week is probably the most important 2 game stretch of the year. This loss hurt, but at least it was out of division.

I think I'm failing to see how our recievers are so fucking good that they can just get open on whoever the fuck they want to on every god damn play. He tried to make a play there at the end and it didn't work. So fucking what. I admitted he had a bad game on saturday. He threw some balls he doesn't usually throw, but I'll be damned if I want him to stop throwing "well placed balls" into single coverage when we have recievers who will go up and get them. We have big receivers who don't run particularly good routes. Want us to stop passing the football? Cause we'll have to if we can only throw to wide open guys.

I didn't say they could. But in response to Wilson miraculous throws, one has to separate what are in fact great throws and what are good plays by the reciever (or bad plays by the DB). I saw a lot of jump balls and a few good throws to open recievers. I also pointed out that RW was hamstrung by what appeared to be pretty poor play calling him leaving him no great short options too little of the time.

I hope carolina beats clemson....The only time I pull for carolina is if it benefits state. A clemson loss would be great for our divisional chances.

I also hope that clemson does physical damage to UNC in the process....

I can say with 100% guarantee that no one on here knows what the play calls were or what the intended routes are therefore no one can make a judgement one way or another whether a route was run correctly or not.

Also, people seem to forget that the other team we played has some really good players and coaches and also practice for a week and scheme to beat our team. Sometimes the other team executes better than we do.

we need to correct our 3rd quarter melt-downs. We've jumped out to fast starts each game. If we could've scored on one of our few chances to make it 20-0 or 24-0 it would have been a totally different game and VT would have had to abandon the run to catch up.

We've go to FINISH games when we get a lead. We haven't done that yet this year and it finally came back to bite us.

No one is arguing for a black coach I said its justified because up until very recently black coaches haven't been successful in football.

However, black qbs have been very successful at the collegiate level but its obvious there are certain connotations associated with having a black qb and that many fans will not give them the same appreciation that they give a white QB.

Nc state is a great example of a fanbase that does that. We have loads of former white QBs we worship like rivers, kramer, montgomery, harvey, etc. And then on the otherhand we dismiss the achievements of great black qbs like wilson and barnette.

Its just a southern thing. At least we let them play QB, in the SEC teams are basically forced into starting the white guy or risk big boosters pulling their checks that help them land the talent.
