This is embarrassing. I've never seen a team so overwhelmingly look like they've been caught with their pants down. ND had NO CLUE what they were going up against. Alabama is making a mockery of their so-called #1 ranked defense. The SEC title game against Georgia was 10x the game that this is.

According to Sagarin's predictor Alabama is #1, ND is #6, but because he can't use things like point differential in his formula his rankings have ND #1 and Alabama #3.

If your goal is to have the two best teams in the country play wouldn't you want to allow some latitude in how that's determined? The BCS formula was more accurate when they had point differential and quality win bonus points.
