Just curious, why would you send a known Trumper an unprompted text about being happy that Biden pardoned Cheney and Fauci? Are yall close friends? Were you trying to rile them up?

A fun spoof could be to post Phill's number in this thread, and then see what happens!

10% for the big guy

Quote :
"A week later, a Chinese company affiliated with CEFC sent $5 million to a joint venture between Hunter and a CEFC associate. The same day, that joint venture sent $400,000 to an entity controlled by Hunter. Less than a week later, Hunter wired $150,000 from his entity to a company owned by James and Sara Biden. On Aug. 28, 2017, Sara withdrew $50,000 from said company. The same day, she deposited it into a personal bank account that belonged to her and her husband. Prior to this deposit, the balance on that personal account was $46.88. On Sept. 3, she cut a $40,000 check from that account to Joe Biden. Graduates of elementary-school math will note that $40,000 is 10% of $400,000."

https://www.cnn.com/2025/01/22/politics/key-lines-trump-first-oval-office-interview/index.html

Quote :
"Trump criticized Biden’s decision to pardon members of his own family and some figures who Trump has singled out, including members of the January 6 committee and witnesses and Dr. Anthony Fauci.

He then said it was a maybe a “sad thing” that Biden hadn’t issued a pardon for himself.

“And you know, the funny thing, maybe the sad thing is, he didn’t give himself a pardon,” Trump told Hannity.

Later in the interview, he added: “Well, I went through four years of hell by this scum that we had to deal with. I went through four years of hell. I spent millions of dollars in legal fees, and I won, but I did it the hard way. And it’s really hard to say that they shouldn’t have to go through it all. So it is very hard to say that.”"

this is why the handwringing over the pardons of his family members was a bit much

Trump is bummed he won’t be able to go after them

I feel like i haven't heard trump go after fauci? I knew his supporters have, but don't recall him being so vocal on him outside of basically saying they had a disagreement on hydroxychoriquin and ivermectin

Prediction: a significant portion of the people that clutched their pearls over Biden’s end-of-term pardons will now turn around and blame Biden for “ not doing enough” to protect people from Trump’s DOJ.

Go back to sleep, Joe. I'd much prefer you asleep at the wheel to what we have now, but I put a large chuck of the blame for our current situation on your ego and lack of awareness / admission of reality.

He has a serious cancer

Prostate

Quote :
"May 18 (Reuters) - Former U.S. President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an "aggressive form" of prostate cancer that has metastasized to the bone, and he and his family are reviewing treatment options with doctors, his office said in a statement on Sunday.
Biden was diagnosed on Friday after having experienced urinary symptoms, the statement said.

"While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management," his office said

I feel like to the bone sounds bad, but not seeing any life expectancies for him, and they say responds to hormones which makes it "manageable". I just wonder what is most likely with him for this

One of the greatest political cover ups in history unfolding.

-1 Credibility

Cancer sucks though, I REALLY feel for him because they obviously used him and mistreated the guy.

I can criticize his legacy and work while POTUS but I will not celebrate his diagnosis.

hahahahaha, no, they absolutely would not.

Part of his cognitive decline was likely due to his treatment.

He himself said he had cancer long before this announcement.

even he did have it for a couple years, how would it qualify as "One of the greatest political cover ups in history"? I think that may be a huge exaggeration.

I can't tell if that's a joke or not, but if not it's BS. Biden had to be dragged out of the election there was no plan. Or if there was a plan it was executed by incompetents.

Biden should have dropped out of reelection bid in 2023, who knows if it changes the outcome but not doing so was a huge mistake

The only thing in all this I find weird is that at least as of yesterday, no one could find his reported A1C results. Those results are available from the last three presidents.

*shrugs*

It is what it is, not sure why we’re so focused on the past here, it isn’t like we can change anything. Just need to wish the best for Biden and his family, as it doesn’t sound good.

My neighbor found a prostate full of cancer, but only because he never went in for checkups. They were able to fix him, however it didn’t make it past his prostate.

Isn't A1c typically used in the analytical context of diabetes?

Did you mean PSA?
