I'd heard we had a pretty good chance with him if the ACC waived their sit-a-year if you are released from your LOI rule. Whatever, it doesn't matter now. I guess there's a few other transfers out there, but it's looking more like Cat may be our only true point guard next season.

the Martin twins are 3s, I doubt we see much them at the 1 or 2. Lee will have to rotate at PG.

Was also 38% from 3. He played in the Big 12 too, so he wasn't doing it against junk competition. Will be a welcome addition next year. Doesn't have the size that Ralston Turner has...but he should take over that outside shooter role.

I'm kind of liking the SG transfer we're getting every year now....Turner/Lacey/Henderson. Get a little veteran scoring and leadership to mix with the young kids. You never want to rely on it...but with kids leaving early and transferring more every year, its almost becoming a necessity.

About time we got some good recruiting news as well.

So at the guard positions we'll have Cat, Lacey, Henderson, Caleb & Cody Martin and maybe a freshman or two in 2015-2016 barring any transfers. It'll be weird the next 2 seasons to have more than 1 guy who can hit 3's, somewhere Scott Wood weeps.

The 2 and 3 are interchangeable in this system...as are the 4 and 5. Naming one a guard and one a wing forward means nothing. For the 2/3 next season we'll have Lacey, Henderson and the Martins for the moment. That would change if we were to add a SG or wing in the 2015 class.
