Well, first things first... rooting for any team matters not at all. Just wanted to clear that up.

Clemson winning is detrimental to our prospects the rest of this season. I just can't justify to myself rooting for anyone in our division, no matter who they are playing. Duke, UNC, Miami, whoever...

First...those white QBs you named were pretty good (some great)...oh...and you left off Geoff Bender.

Second...people loved Jamie Barnette and love Russel Wilson. Barnette threw the best deep ball of any State QB ever (helped that he had Torry Holt to throw it too). We recognized his limitations, but that guy was fucking solid. Had a horrible O-line during his career and took an absolute beating. And people were touting Wilson for the Heisman all last week. State fans overreacted to him making a few mistakes on Saturday...that doesn't mean we look down at black Quarterbacks. I think you shifted your racism onto your fan base.

If the CU-UNC game would likely determine whether we won the division or not then I'd root for a tie.

As it is ill root for clemson to beat them by 60 and hope their qb gets hurt in the process.

You aren't from NC you don't understand it NYM, ill take a guaranteed carolina loss over a scenario that MAY help us if 100 other things fall into place any day.

If FSU loses to Miami, Florida, and maybe Clemson... I could see us losing to them and otherwise winning out and still get into the championship.


For real though, I'm really interested in the way the rest of the season is going to play it. We should* get a bowl game, so each win can bang us up that ladder. The hope is that we get some fire under us and win a few of the upcoming big games that we always seem to lose... Clemson, Miami.. and push ourselves up the bowl ladder for some recognition/recruiting.
