per twitter, we're taking a look at Ricky Council, 6'4" prep SG out of Moravian in Hickory, on Thursday. Providence just offered him. looks like a solid shooter, which you can never have enough of, but still seems like a bigger immediate need would be a backup PG or combo guard with Henderson already here to fill Ralston's role the next two years. that said, i'd be happy to get him if the coaches like him and he wants to come.

We have offered 2016 SF Maverick Rowan. He originally is from the Pittsburgh area and had been committed to Pitt, but decommitted when he transferred schools down to Ft. Lauderdale. He is a consensus 4* player, and top 50 player nationally. Many people are predicting he will end up at Louisville. He actually visited State during the Duke win.

I would be very surprised if we don't add at least one player for next year. It could be a late high school addition (Freeman committed at the end of April, IIRC) or a transfer/grad/JUCO player, but it's not like we have a ton of playing time to offer recruits based on what we SHOULD have coming back next year and how Gott played our current guys this year.

No reason to really sweat over this.

We lose 1 player who played many minutes and he's being replaced by a transfer who has D1 experience and can step right in. Really hard to sign 4-5* players when you can't offer immediate PT.

I think we'll do better in 2016, more PT will be available, potentially having to replace both lead guards if Barber has a full season like he had down the stretch this year.
