At first I thought K would be retiring sooner rather than later...but with his natty this year and his recent recruiting success...I think he's getting greedy and is wanting to lap the field with championships.

i still can't really see K coaching more than 6 or 7 more seasons at the most. that'd put him at 75 years old.

After the Lehigh and Mercer early round exits, I thought it was possible he might only have a year or two left. 6 or 7 years is a long ass time to see him continue to scoop up every recruit he wants, dominate the ACC, and maybe win a couple more national championships. Fuck that guy.

you'd be doing yourself a favor. The World's Strongest Morning Show is like sports for dummies. Mark Thomas can't complete a sentence without contradicting himself, plus he thinks he's a bigshot because he had a cup of coffee in the NFL and does Crossroads Ford commercials. Mike Maniscalco could be decent, but he tries way too hard to be insightful and I can't stand how he tries to segway EVERYTHING. which is exactly why he doesn't know shit. in what way would he have some inside info about this recruit that every NC State recruiting site with paid writers and recruiting "experts" does not have? ok...he got johnny frasier right. he was not the only one predicting that. everybody was in agreement that frasier's commit to FSU was very soft and that State was in great position to land him. plus, frasier was a local recruit. making it at least possible that thomas did know somebody close to frasier or something. but he wasn't exactly going out on a limb with predicting frasier to state.

all that said...of course i hope he's right and i'm wrong. but i can't wrap my head around mark thomas having the inside scoop on a basketball player from mississippi that nobody else thinks we're getting.

I definitely have my doubts as well. I just wonder why he would tweet something like that and risk losing a lot of credibility with State fans if hes wrong. Of course that's another debate.

I will say that I think he's as close to the program as he can get while still being in a position to do what he's doing on twitter. All in all its just one guys twitter account, but there's not much else to go off of at this point and it's fun to speculate.

Thornton isnt a OAD prospect. If K somehow turns him into one you tip your cap and drive Smith to Durham. This is as good for us (that PG is 95% locked up at Duke) as it is bad (the 5% chance he goes pro after one year PLUS reclassing)
