I think some people are going to get fired today. At least my job's safe for now. My supervisor told my department "today's meeting is going to be strange and unpleasant, but your jobs are safe." I'm relieved, but it still sucks for the people getting canned. This economy sucks ass.

Yep, I was right, 9 people got laid off from a staff of about 60. They also cut salespeople's commissions and bonuses, though that doesn't affect me directly. This has been a shitty day for a lot of people here.
