how the fuck are people throwing their remotes during bowling? I can almost see it for tennis or baseball, but if I dropped my remote while bowling and somehow the strap just disintegrated, then the remote would still just land on the floor a few feet away - not go flying.

just a heads up for those looking for a Wiimote. I preordered a game called WiiPlay from circuitcity.com today. It's another game like WiiSports except for it comes with a Wiimote. It's $50, so the game is basically $10. It will be released on the 15th, so i'll have to wait 2-3 weeks for it, but I will anyways to look for a wiimote int he stores.

The eb games (in the same parking as best buy/wal-mart/barnes & noble are in) on 15-501 (the chapel hill side of durham) had a wii in stock last time I was there I believe... wasn't shopping for one that day though just overheard. Once new years raises are determined at work I might have to get one.

If you are looking for Wiimotes I saw about 5 of them at the Best Buy on Capital last night. There was also one VC controller.

sigh. no wiis at toys r us, circuit city, target, best buy, or eb games in cary today.

but there were a lot of wii remotes at bb. i went ahead and bought one for myself bc i heard how hard to find they were.

and the only place i didn't check this morning, wal-mart, just told me over the phone that they got 6 in this morning and sold out.

My brother has DBZ. It's fun enough but the controls take getting used to. A lot. And the characters after different enough in my opinion. Most fights are spent charging up and flinging beams at each other.

Raving Rabbids is a blast, even if you're watching someone else play. I'd wait for Wario Ware on the 17th. Definitely my most anticipated game for the first half of '07.

Probably Raving Wabbids if you are looking for crazy multiplayer. I thought Monkey Ball multiplayer was wretched (a few games were good though). Elebits may be a good multiplayer, but I haven't tried.

He threw the Wiimote bowling cuz he actually bumped his hand against a chair which jarred it loose from his hand as he continued the motion then the strap broke and it flew into the Fire hydrant, We all thought it was pretty fuckin funny
