I run kids fishing clinics in florida. we usually get a lot of inner city kids. use your imagination as to what i mean by that.

anyhow, we use a touch tank to teach them about some of the critters they might see in florida's waters. if the kid has been acting up, i will let the horseshoe crab smack them on the arm/hand/face with its tail. The horseshoe crab is totally harmless, but when you're some dumb uneducated misbehaving brat who thinks its a stingray, it results in a totally genuine expression of fear.

My ex and I are on exceedingly good terms, and I'm so glad for that. We've negotiating 'friends' territory REALLY easily.


But I really expected to miss him (as a bf) much more than I do.
Which makes me wonder why I don't miss him as much as I expected.
