Our backcourt still consists of Javi, Degand (who managed to get hurt again in the first game), and Ferguson. We will finish in the bottom 3.

But he already has a solid class coming in next year, with potentially one or two of the best players in the country joining them. He's not going to be fired.

^So if we go say 10-20 but because he has top players coming in he can't be fired? He already landed Hickson and Smith in the same year and the team got worse.

Exactly. There's absolutely no way you can compete in Division 1 basketball if you're an excellent recruiter and a modest to above-average coach.

Where did the will of this team go? They forgot what it takes to win. No desire. On the bomb Curry hit to go up by 4, everyone was watching the fucking three go up from the corner, McCauley allowed himself to be shoved under the rim for an easy board for them, then Curry was out beating his virgin cock off and having a coke before deciding to launch from Monroe. WTF? Our boys don't have heart or an awareness of the situation and what it takes to seal the deal. Dunno if that is Sid or lack of Sr leadership or what.

This is going to be a long season.

Anything better than 5-11 in the ACC would be considered a success.

Our depth is all borderline ACC scholarship players. Our starters are a combination of marginal ACC starters and borderline ACC rotation players.

Our coach doesn't seem to have the ability to get effort out of his players nor does he have any grasp of substitution strategy.

This isn't the NBA where you play a ten man rotation. We have *gasp* guys in our rotation who are severe liabilities which means they shouldn't see minutes.

there's a lot you can blame sidney for. and a lot you can blame our players for. but i don't think you can blame them for not having "heart" like everyone is screaming. they were diving all over the floor all game. they're just not good players. and sidney's not a good coach.

and btw, for the record, i think we'll be ok with lowe in the long run. i think he could do some big things with players like howell, wood, brown, and maybe a wall or favors.

if you THROW IN the ZERO he had, he is still AVG 31.3 PTS PER FUCKING GAME. WITHOUT IT HE IS AVG 36.5 and is the best player in the country, BY FAR.

I would be lying if I said I thought Lowe were a great coach.

But at the same time, firing this same old stupid shit up after our season's 5th game is a tad ridiculous. Yeah, it was frustrating as shit to watch him go off, but he goes off on EVERYBODY, not just us. People act like this was David McClure going off for 44, not to the best pure shooter I've ever seen play college ball

*** I kid, I kid. 6 wins in the ACC and I'd be ecstatic. We haven't lost to any god awful UNO type teams this year and we haven't played down to the cupcakes THAT much like last year... That Presbyterian game was downright horrid last year... by far the worst game I ever witnessed a State athletic team play.
