urlacher was very solid in coverage which is one aspect of what i said

luke had good coverage skills in college but he has struggled with that aspect in the nfl. he does at times show good instincts and as he improves he could become a more complete player. currently he reads the run game very well and covers sideline to sideline very well. he's a really good linebacker but he's not the sole reason our defense has been great this year. in fact, he's been outplayed by thomas davis this season

Give me a fucking break. One of our biggest strengths is his pass coverage. We are amazing up the middle this year after being the weakest team in the league two years ago.

No linebacker in this league can single cover gronk or graham. Most cant sinfle cover average te. You realize these guys get attention from 2-4 guys on most plays.

How about his game saving pass breakup 30 yards downfield against the 49ers?

drops have become more of a problem for steve as he's aged and the explosive plays have pretty much completely gone away this year. lafell has always had problems with drops. ginn isnt good but at least when he catches the ball it's usually a big play.

i'm not face and beholden to advanced stats. the stats actually like lafell a lot more than I do most years (this year looks about right) and they like olsen this year apparently. to me, olsen is really good at running in a straight line and not much else.

^^Just further proving why home-field is so important to the Saints and Seahawks. Neither are nearly as great on the road(see Saints getting throttled by the Jets). Both are the class of the NFC at home, too bad neither can play in the SB at home.
