This one is on Cam and the passing game in general. With the way the run game was rolling early, they should have been able to score more points. Defense played ok, one TD drive besides that crazy play by Julio. Cam needs to be great for this offense to really function and he wasn't today.

And Champ Bailey had a MUCH better season the very next season and wasnt even invited to the ceremony lol. Again the Falcons are god awful. They should be 15-0 looking to rest our starters. Defense was getting slashed. Offense couldn't move the ball against the almighty Atlanta defense. Julio jones had a field day. Again the cardinals had three very good receivers who all are having an excellent year. It was 7 -7 at halftime and I knew something was up.

Now if The cardinals win we HAVE to play the last game to lock up home field. It's bullshit

But the special teams looked good. Keep pounding.

Panthers have now beaten 5 teams with winning records (Falcons, Texans, Seahawks, Redskins, Packers). 4 of those are playoff teams.

^^ lol at this being the biggest win in Falcons history. They beat that ridiculously good 15-1 Vikings team in 98 (I think it was 98) that had Cunningham, Carter, Moss, etc to get to the Super Bowl. Pretty sure that win was better than a regular season victory.

Yeah, Ealy wasn't piling up sacks (although 5 isn't bad), but he was winning at the line a lot while holding the edge well against the run. I don't think he should have been replaced in the starting lineup immediately by Johnson, who hadn't done much before his injury either. He hasn't played well and Ealy has looked worse coming off the bench then when he was starting. Allen has played ok, we frankly don't have another 3 down defensive end on the roster unless we reactivate Wes Horton (the Pedther). Addison and Delaire are only pass rushing specialists. Short is a legitimate beast, no one else needs to be a star on that line, just play decent.

With all that said, it's not the defense's fault we lost by 7 in a game where we allowed a 70 yard junkball TD and only gave up 20 points total.
