The Russia decision is kind of whatever to me. Russia isn't terrible but it was last on my list of countries I wanted to visit for the WC who were bidding on 2018. Qatar was also last on my list for 2022 and I won't even consider going there.

Qatar is smaller than the state of Connecticut, the avg temps in June and July is 107.
