If you sell to your b-net wallet you can only spend it in the blizzard store and on diablo items. If you want to get real money then you need to sell directly to your paypal account. You'll get hit with a 15% fee.

Yeah, or save it for other blizzard games, expansion packs, etc. I accidentally sent like 100$ in sales to my blizz account when I first started, I ended up just using it to buy better gear, considered it a reinvestment.

Or you could have a friend who you trust list a shitty rare item for however much you have to cash out, then just find that item and buy it out, then he gives you the money.

Caverns sucks. Mostly because it seemed no matter which direction I picked I always went the wrong way and had to backtrack and run around till finally finding the exit.

I've gone total DPS w/ the monk. Just seems only fun way to play this game is full tilt dps or die trying. I was at like 200 resist at one point and had to bump it back up that was too low. Not in the mood to try to slow tank things, I'll deal with the repair bill.

Got my monk up to 50k dps, with buffs and all probably closer to 60-70k dps. But now pretty topped out on what I can afford to upgrade without spending $$$ or 50 million gold. Clearing act 2 easily now and can't believe how easy Bel is. Use to think that was the hardest thing, especially with the WD. Now it is as easy as the butcher. Ghom on the other hand....

the only really hard thing for my barb (still kinda budget ww gear. only 750 res) is jailer and a ground affix, or shielding/elec.

if you get jailed you can't ww, so you can't leach, so you die....

shielding/elec also rapes your leach but spits out elecs.

especially with WW you spawn millions of electrifies.

man these molten rare packs really piss me off being a barbarian. They come up and hit me once and then run off and hide, forcing me to chase them and run in their bullshit molten which kills me in about 3 seconds. Especially the moon clan guys that throw spears that do 5k damage. mother f'er

Bout done with the game. Out of money. And running act 1/2 just getting old. Plus most of the people I played group games with don't play anymore, which I'd rather do groups then solo. Can't afford to regear around MF.

I'd stick around if the PvP patch was coming soon, but it sounds like that is still a long way away.

Yeah, I haven't played much recently either.
I'm also tired of Blizzard not owning up to mistakes. A little less than a week ago, Blizzard did some form of hotfix (no patch) that appeared to drastically increased elemental damage from ground effects. A bunch of the players looked into it and number-crunchered and seemed to think that it was an issue with Resistance not being taken into account for those cases.

Tons of threads and calculations later, they get a single blue post saying that they extensively test everything and surely they would have seen this issue if it occurred and people are crazy because Onyxia Deep Breaths more this patch!

Maybe Blizzard was right and everyone else was just wrong, but things did feel like they were whallopping me harder (something I noticed before heading to the forums).

If you chase anything molten right now your resist doesn't do anything and you die extremely fast.

I'm not going to complain about the game, or grinding, because it is what it is and I don't mind grinding for gear. But overall my random luck for drops hasn't been great and without the game having some feature like PvP in it to break things up just getting hard to run the same things over and over.

Just trying to decide if I want to sell everything and try to make a few $$ while I can or just hold off and do something else until the next patch. It would be nice to see a game update from blizzard about what the next patch will be like, and the changes that are coming.

I haven't played in at least a week. I can farm Act IV and inferno ponies, and the game isn't different enough on hardcore for me to care about beating it that way. So I don't see the point in endless repetition to eventually afford still better gear when it wouldn't help me do anything more than complete the endless repetition faster or with better loot drops.

In my opinion the biggest problem with d3 vs d2 is the level cap. In d2 you could be level 60 and tear through Hell, but there was still more leveling to do. Even when you are leveling super slow at 85+, you are making progress. Now you HAVE to be 60 to be able to do inferno, and you can have long sessions where you accomplish basically nothing. Blizz had the low level cap to allow for expansions and to force you to need gear to be better. Personally I think they should have stretched it out to level 80, but 60->80 being super slow. This would've allowed for you to at least feel like you are improving your character every time you play.

^^Banned. Only thing that sucks about it was that I had probably 100$ worth of stuff that I had listed on the RMAH for too high a couple days ago. I didnt have a chance to relist it before work yesterday (the timers ran out 10 minutes after I left!), then I came home to being banned. I had been planning on dropping the prices down a ton and they definitely would have sold. If you get banned your items on the RMAH will still sell and you still get the money.

^^^Yeah, I was farming the cellar in A1.

I had around 30m and maybe another 5m in equipped gear. So it wasn't terrible compared to some of these guys who have gotten banned with billions in gear. But oh well!

Trying a melee wizard. 8k armor, 850 resists, 28k hp, Blur, 38% crit etc. It's really fun and I can facetank most of Act2, but even normal Act3 mobs just ream me. Sick of Act 1 and getting sick of 2.

still enjoying the game. Perhaps I'm easily amused. I tried WW on my barb it was fun but I ain't got the funds to justify it yet, so something to look forward to in a month or so. Almost done with act 3 on my barb just taking my time. I really enjoy the challenge of the auction house which has ramped up these past two weeks, the only shit that is selling is prop 6 ilvl 63 shit.
