A few minutes ago the CBS people were talking about the CU/BC game and they were like, "this is a bad loss for the ACC." Why is it a bad loss for the ACC? Is it any worse than South Carolina losing to Kentucky just after beating Bama? How about when Florida lost to freaking Mississippi State by a score of 10-7? Clemson, who's only mediocre at best this year, took the current BCS #1 team to overtime, and were kicking the crap out of them during the first half. Whenever the SEC teams beat up on each other it's always spun as "oh look at how strong the SEC is" but when the ACC teams beat up on each other it's spun as "oh look at how terrible the ACC is." I'm not saying that the SEC isn't clearly the better conference. That would just be stupid, but I just think it's stupid to shit on one conference for one thing then turn around and praise another conference for the exact same thing.
