Rowan definitely helps to add more shooting to the roster to go along with Henderson (and hopefully if Martin & Barber improved their shots), but it is going to be interesting to see how Gott rotates guys in and out to get them minutes - should only get more difficult once Dorn is eligible in '16-'17.

^^^yeah Gott has been pretty consistent with a 7-8 man rotation throughout his time here. Granted, that 16-17 team has potential to be his most talented, from top to bottom, so that could obviously change his rotation for sure.

I think Kirk sees time at the 4. With only 3 true bigs (maybe 2 until Freeman is healthy), we will have to run a 4 guard/wing attack. Which is fine by me. At times it works great (see Villanova). Pretty much Kirk or Cody will have to put in some time at the 4 spot this year regardless of Freeman's status.

i really think Gott's dream squad would be the most athletic guys he can find at their position.

I think Rowan will play SG and Henderson SF...It's a very interchangeable position with them.

I don't think Gott keeps his rotation at 8 guys because he thinks that's a magic number for his rotation.

I think we've only ever had 8 players capable of really stepping out on the court and contributing at one time. If we had 10, I bet he'd rotate 10 to see which ones were hot and let those guys play the most.

I doubt it. Gott just hasn't shown that kind of roster flexibility.

It's like when we played Louisville; everybody in the world could see that Washington was our most effective player out there, but Gott only played him 10 minutes because he had his set rotation and he stuck to it. Expect more of the same shallow bench and head-scratching rotations this year.

Also, Cody will be the backup point guard. Henderson just isn't a distributor.

Our point guard doesn't need to distribute...he just needs to get the ball up the court and not turn it over. Cat can obviously drive and dish all he wants, but if he's out of the game, then we'll just post up and run sets for shooters/scorers.

Cody or Terry can play the point for us a few minutes a game if necessary. Disregarding fatigue and foul trouble, I expect Cat to get 35min/game in competitive contests.

haha oh Washington. if he got the ball, he was going to shoot it and/or foul somebody in the process. there was just no concept of passing the ball out for him. and then on defense somebody would blow by him and get the ol' slap on the back foul and one.

he could have been great for us but he was just still raw and didn't want to wait for his time.

Watched the Adidas Nations final last night. The one glaring thing I took away was how much I hated Kobi Simmons. He was too busy showing off to do much. I hate those players who are more concerned with looking good than putting forth any effort. Dude didn't even play well at all.

Atkins and Fultz looked good. Bam didn't start but had some nice plays. He made his free throws which would be nice.

couple of days ago Dylan Painter came out with his top 7. Penn St, Nova, NC State, George Washington, Xavier, Rhode Island, St. Joe's...that seems like a very beatable list of teams.

He's a 6'10", class of 2016. He's 3* according to 247 sports, and Scout, Rivals hadn't ranked him. 247 also lists Penn St as his most likely landing spot.

I would imagine that he may be a back up plan to Bam, but that's just a guess.
