Should start Deion Branch over Javon Walker this week?

I like Branch this week.

Bailey will be on Jackson, and we have already seen what a good #2 WR can do to Darrent Williams (see Reggie Wayne).

Also, its Cutler's first start, so I expect alot of runs, dump passes, screens, and hook patterns to attempt to get him used to NFL game speed.

I like Branch over Walker this week.

this question is for everyone but I specifically am calling out Panthro to answer this:

pick 2:
Favre vs NYJ
Romo vs NYG
Rivers vs BUF

Pick 2:
C.Taylor vs CHI
S. Jackson vs ARI
Addai vs TEN
J.Jones vs NYG

the real big one, pick 4:
R. Wayne vs TEN
A. Johnson vs OAK
R. Williams vs NE
B. Berrian vs MIN
L. Fitzgerald vs STL
P. Burress vs DAL

everyone feel free to give me some insight

all right Volcom, here is mytwocents

If you have any questions as to why, just ask and I'll answer.

QB

Romo - no brainer. He is on fire.

Rivers - he's at Buffalo, and you might as well call him Hawk or Animal when he's away from San Diego because this man is a Road Warrior. 85.6 QB rating @ home with 4 TD's and 2 picks, 102.2 QB rating on the road, with 11 TD's and 4 picks on the road.

RB

Probably the easiest picks of your group.

S. Jackson - A force both running and receiving this season. Arizona doesnt have the D-line to stop the run and they dont have the Line backers to keep up with him on the flats.

Addai - coming off of a 4 TD game against the Eagles, and he is basically the man right now in Indy. You have to start him, no question.

WR

though I wouldnt normally pick a RB and a WR from the same team, the Colts at the Titans are the exception.

Wayne is on fire, scoring 8? TD's in his last 7 games. a must start.

Fitzgerald - he looked great last week against the Vikings, and Leinart will likely be throwing ~40 times.

Burress - I always pick players when they are coming off of some in-house controversy, as they always seem to play better. The G-men HAVE to win this game if they want to stay in the playoff mix, so I suspect Eli will be looking at Plax early and often.

Berrian - The sleeper of the group. He is back at full speed and Grossman was back to throwing 3-5 deep balls his way last week. Against a Vikings defense that ranks first in Run Defense and near the bottom in pass defense, The bears will exploit this will numerous attempts at the home run. He wont have a ton of receptions, but he will have a deep play and I look for him to be around 5 catches, 90 yards, 1 TD.

I know I picked him over Roy and Andre, but thier matchups arent great this week and I really feel like you have to pick based on matchups moreso than publicity.

Let me know if you have any questions.

- The Guru

OK, gentleman. Start 3:

Lundy vs Oakland
Parker vs TB
Dunn vs Washington
Deangelo vs Phi
Morris vs Jacksonville

Starting the first 3, now, but Addai went off on the eagles, last week. If morris could produce like Ronnie Brown, I would be happy.

Lundy will be splitting carries this week.

Deangelo will not start this week, as Foster is healthy and will get the majority of the carries.

^^latest I heard (about an hour ago) is that its still a game-time decision, but they are playing the 49ers so they might keep him out as a precaution

^I'd go with Walker, didnt Stallworth tweak his hammy again last week? I know he's probable, but this hamstring injury has been sticking around since week 2 or 3, plus the Eagles play the Panthers and Stallworth will likely be covered by Gamble

and for the last time

PICK 3 WR
Javon Walker vs. Seattle
Andre Johnson vs. Oakland
Torry Holt vs. Arizona
Devery Henderson vs. SF (my QB is Drew Brees, btw)

PICK 2 RB
Larry Johnson vs. Cleveland <---obviously going with him
Warrick Dunn vs. Washington
Ladell Betts vs. Atlanta

I'm still undecided on Dunn vs. Betts at RB and also at benching Walker, Johnson or Holt for Henderson

really? i'm having second thoughts right now as well... my other RB this week was Rudi, and he only gave me like 6 pts, so i need someone who can give me at least a pretty good outing and let Fitzgerald, Gates, and Roy-Will carry the team this week...

maybe i should switch it up to barber

BARBER HAS SCORED 5 TD's IN HIS LAST 4 WEEKS AND HE IS THE RARE COMBO OF THE GOAL LINE BACK FOR THE COWBOYS, AS WELL AS THE 3rd DOWN BACK.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND START BARBER

I'm losing to the guy in my league who hasn't won a game all year right now.

He has houston's defense, 1 sack, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 TD, and no points allowed so far (and they are playing Oakland, so I doubt they will do too much scoring).

If I lose to this guy I will never hear the end of it.
