^^^ If a game between #1 and #2 at the end of the season is settled by a point or two, then I believe they are still #1 and #2 in the country, and both go to the NC.

And I would not "expect" one, it's just what I think ought to happen.

Clemson and Ga Tech played earlier this year, and Ga Tech won. If Clemson wins tonight, who is the true ACC champion? They'd both be 7-2 with wins over each other.

Well I think the ACC championship game is a joke. Especially this year. Now that you pointed that out, doubly so. The ACC champ? We're all losers this year. I never understood how GT got so high in the rankings. They were a top 10 team just waiting to be exposed.

And the selection for the NC game is waaaaaaaaaay different than the selection for the ACC championship game. ACC - the best team from each division. That wasn't up for debate this year... and since Clemson and GT are in different divisions the head to head wouldnt' be a factor if both teams had a tied record. NC selection - flip a coin, put the coin in a slot machine, pull the lever, let a computer decide if there's a payout or not.
