seriously, Moyes is absolute shit

twitter is abuzz with claims of a United board meeting either tonight or tomorrow (tonight would have already passed, i guess) to potentially sack him

Why is Moyes clueless? If we're gonna give him what, 7 months, why not give him 18 ?

When has firing managers after 7 months ever worked? Except Chelsea, which is basically a revolving door...

Worked for Liverpool.

Give him 18 months for what? To continue playing his best players out of position? Not make any changes in a drubbing until the 70th minute? To set up his lineup and formation in ways that don't take advantage of any opposition weaknesses? Fuck around in the transfer market some more?

Moyes hasn't worked. I feel bad for him because you can see he clearly wants to succeed but the ability just isn't there. There is a reason Moyes hasn't exactly lost the dressing room entirely. He is disillusioned and almost doesn't believe he has this job and this opportunity to manage United. I understand why Sir Alex picked him, Moyes has a lot of upside if he is/was successful. He would stick around for years and bring the continuity that Sir Alex did.

That said, I still wouldn't sack him until the end of the season. Also, I realistically don't expect Moyes to be sacked till December 2014. He will get the first part of the next year to figure it out. Unless of course Moyes goes on to lose Olympiakos, West Ham, and City in the next 2 weeks. Which isn't too far away from the realm of possibility. Just got to admit we made a mistake and move on. I think Moyes will do a fine job with any of the other midtable clubs. The man is broken and we are beyond hopefully the results will improve stage. He is well and truly in the hot seat after that game.

stop posting bullshit. The anti-moyes bandwagon is strong. As much as its probably not going to happen, I genuinely hope this guy gets it right next year. It would be oh so rewarding for him personally to vindicate the media cunts and for me personally with the smug fans from this year.

Wouldn't expect anything else though after 20 years of throwing shit at their faces. Just don't be surprised if/when United's results improve the shit will be thrown back tenfold.

Fuck yeah wazza. I've done my part. Which is to not post anti- Moyes messages on FB/Redcafe etc . TWW doesn't count. No one reads it lulzz. When those scouse bastards displayed this

I thought to myself, uh oh, you better hope it doesn't come back to bite you guys like this one did

GG Fucking MU. But again, come on lad, Moyes is losing the dressing room. That's the final frontier of the manager, as Sir Alex has himself said.

Moyes is not going to be there next year. I'll be surprised if he makes it to the end of the season. There is too much money on the line to be fucking about with his incompetent bullshit.

He might have a 6 year contract, but the payout to get him off it and get a Klopp or van Gaal in to replace him is a PITTANCE when compared to the money lost vis a vis dropping out of the Champions League for years and the associative monitary loss of global brand positioning. Couple hundred million versus potential billions? Very easy to determine the outcome of that transaction.

Well at least I know NC State will always top anything bad United ever does. Fuck this. I am going to focus on the premier league after that embarrassing game of basketball. So league title? City, chelsea, pool, or arsenal?

PS: FUCK St. Louis.

embarrassing? I have clearly just said I don't expect United to win in the next round but I wouldn't be surprised if United did because the individual ability is there but United haven't played with the cohesion that I saw yesterday all year (except for Arsenal at home). Its hilarious if people think this team isn't all of a sudden good enough (same team that destroyed the EPL last year). Managerial decisions and lack of confidence have been the biggest reasons for United's struggle not individual ability. Some thickheaded people in here.

You guys are the one hoping United get embarrassed.

To win the title, Liverpool need City to drop points somewhere even if they beat them at Anfield. Best chances for that are United (lol) and at Arsenal. And since LFC doesn't play Arsenal again, they need Arsenal to drop points somewhere other than City. Best place for that is here or at Everton.

If Liverpool win out, they'll have more points than Chelsea so I think I want a Chelsea win today. I guess a tie would work too. I think that's right anyway. Liverpool will end up losing at Cardiff today or something anyway because fuck sports.

[Edited on March 22, 2014 at 8:21 AM. Reason : Note: I don't actually think LFC wins out. ]

Mourinho lined up absolutely perfectly today. Luiz and Matic in midfield against Arsenal is a masterstroke. The midfield steel has disrupted Arsenal's rhythm all day so far. On the counter, Hazard, Oscar, and Shurrle came to play today.

After the two early goals, Arsenal were done. Chamberlain made it much worse and then all Chelsea had to do was continue disrupting Arsenal's rhythm going forward. Arsenal have had absolutely nothing and as a team are all over the place. I am amazed at how much room Chelsea have been afforded in the middle.

Wow, Liverpool winning their 19th or United stopping them by losing to City?

I don't know, maybe Rooney can make a "bad" backpass to De Gea enabling Toure to score and seal City's win

I wouldn't mind it if United repaid Gerrard in kind for the Drogba back pass. Would also love it if United beat city though. It's derby day, lets not drop to the level of the scousers and take care of business for our sake.
