Then Dennis Smith Jr. comes up from under the 50 yard lines and throws his flaming crutches into the ground FSU Seminole style before doing backflips to the sideline to show everyone he is o.k. Then we put up 60 against Louisville and break the top 15 in the polls.

^Read they likely WON'T do that. Apparently some concerns that if they do that, the moisture in the air mixed with not a great ventilation system would mean the court would be pretty slick. Seems like it wouldn't be a smart decision.

I'm guessing they'll either move it to the PNC or just have a meet-and-greet with the team.

Alkins won't commit this weekend, but I know a lot of people are really hoping Bam will. Personally think Bam takes a couple of OVs before he commits, one being to UK.

I saw Kentucky got a commit from a power forward today so hopefully that pushes Bam Bam towards us more.

UK Commit could physically play PF but think part of his commitment was the understanding he'd be able to play SF. Apparently this helps us more with Alkins because it now moves Monk to SG if he were to commit there. They're still going to pursue Bam for sure.

Sounds like we might currently lead for Udoka, but think he's going to at least OV with FSU before he makes a decision.

^ I read where Bam is going to school in High Point. I thought he was from the eastern part of the state so travel shouldnt have been a big deal but he is scheduled for an OV on 10/31, which, according to scouts, is the only OV he's scheduled.

Well the good news this weekend is that we should have Bam on campus for an OV along with Dennis Smith Jr. I think a lot of people are optimistic it's enough to get Bam to go ahead and commit, but I'm not sure it's a "lock" or anything.

Also speculation that landing Bam would really help with Azubuike. It's going to really help us in recruiting these 2 guys in tandem, Bam does not want to play C in college and wants to play along side a true center to make sure that doesn't happen, also helps he wants a "great PG" to play with. Azubuike wants to play with a good PF and a good PG so he can just lock down the paint and play C.

Seen a lot of message board chatter that this weekend could be when Bam commits. But I'm pretty sure I remember some of the "experts" on Rivals or somewhere saying that he was more likely to wait till the late signing period to commit.

Last I saw was that DSJr and Bam would both be Fall commits and sign during the early signing period.

Maybe that's changed for Bam.

I think both of them are expected to sign in the early period. Although I never like to count my chickens...(Malik Newman, Amile, Randle, Wall, Cousins, Favors, etc.)

^Probably just hasn't been updated in a while.

He took a visit here, we've had the coaches down to see him. We've offered and I think most believe we're in his top 3-4 schools. Think the current though process is FSU is likely the leader, with NCSU and Kansas trying to catch up. Have heard UNC might be in that 2nd group as well.

PP people said that his visit with UNC went extremely well. We're also reportedly looking at one of his AAU team mates because he's a Kansas lean and is contributing to his possible decision to go there.

Haha, it's all about who is reporting what.

UNC guys saying their visit went extremely well.
Kanas guys saying their in the driver's seat because they got a teammate recruiting him. Claiming that he "indifferent on the 2 NC teams."
FSU guys thought they had him wrapped up but seem to think he's slipping.
NCSU guys think we hit a homerun on his visit and will pick him up if we get Bam.

Really just depends on who you ask. Think the general consensus is that FSU is still the team to beat but all the other schools think they're #2 pushing for the top spot.
