These two bills were introduced into the House and Senate by
DEMOCRATS, not Republicans, and certainly don't have the backing of the
Bush Administration. This rumor is being circulated in order to try to
scare young people into voting for Kerry. It's just another dirty
Democrat trick. The Republicans have made no mention of supporting a
draft, much less pushing it "quietly" through Congress.

Bush and Kerry may say they won't enact a draft NOW, but wait until after the election and see what happens. If they need to, the elite will use another terrorist attack as the pretext or excuse to enact a draft, just as they needed the 9/11 attacks as the pretext to go to war in Afghanistan and Iraq and to wage war against the American people with the Patriot act and Homeland Security by cracking down on civil liberties.

Look at the facts. Our military is overextended. Soldiers have been forced to do additional tours of duty beyond what they agreed to. This was the working of some moronic democrat in DC, trying to impose the draft, before the Iraq war, so the congressman wouldnt vote to go to war. He used the draft because he knows if it was inacted, then no one would want or vote to go to war. He used it to try and scare people. It was on the senate floor since 2002, and it finally got voted on and shutdown a few weeks ago.
