$55,000 sounds low to me, although I am sure the economy/state of the company has to do with it.
My cousin graduated from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in the 80s and was making about as much if not more after inflation adjustment with McKinsey at the time.
But yea, still, $55k in Texas is money.

He also may have started as an associate, rather than a business analyst. Probably a big difference in coming in from a master's in math and a degree from IIM Cal. The associates make way more than analysts do. 4/22/2006 3:17:17 PM |
