the whole bomb inside the chest thing was pretty captivating


if it didn't interefere with me watching CNBC Asia, i would try and catch some more episodes

^^^i watched some of season 1, along with desperate housewives, etc. but my sundays have always been real busy. anyway, i for some reason caught the thanksgiving episode last november(?) and then heard the superbowl episode was gonna be major, so I watched it. I missed last weeks, but got the wrap up, then saw this previous Sunday's episode.

I have a question for those of you that have the 'season 1' dvd....

This might sound stupid but how many episodes are on there? What about the episodes that are still airing, those obviously aren't on the dvd right? I just thought that was weird to release the season 1 dvd when season 1 doesn't appear to be over yet???

Maybe I'm missing something?

First 9 eps were on season 1, from 10 on it is technically season 2...so i would imagine you get 1-9 on the DVD

season 1's of a show are usually very short as they are a test season. If it's well received then they order the 2nd season, if it's not...well it becomes one of those many shows you see for a bit and then never hear of again(ie: Kitchen Confidential).

they must have combined the test season with the next order of episodes as one. I promise you they didn't film 27 episodes as the first season. Some package them as 1 season, some don't...like when seinfeld came out on dvd, they released season 1 and 2 together to make it a full season's worth of episodes.

the reason season one was only nine episodes was because it was a midseason replacement


the oc's first season started in july before all the other fall shows started that's why its first season has so many eps

the oc did not start in july. it started in august.
