now it's just going to be blind luck...for walmart ask when their truck arrives (it's a routine schedule), i think it's around 2 and you could check there around that time before the rush and for best buy and circuit city just try around opening i guess...microsoft wanted to sell some ridiculously high number in the first 30 days so there should be a ton coming in soon...

i am sucked into condemned right now...

anyone with a 360 should buy this game...

it's like resident evil + donnie darko + more gore and disturbing stuff...

i honestly can't think of a game that has ever had me on the edge of my seat, but this one does...i have to beat a level and then take a little break...it increases your heart rate...haha

it's like a well produced horror movie that you actually get to act out...seriously...

I just beat the game...awesome last level...very intense...and a great ending...now i have to go back and earn all of the achievements...some people on xbox live have over 2000 hours on this game (i think it was)...

well since everyones opinions dont count...i still say PGR3, FIFA 06 and Perfect Dark are well worth it. I playd PGR3 with my roomate and 6 others online for 4 hours straight before i had to start packing for my trip...it was hell of fun especially since everyone that played with us A) had a headset and B) were not the typical goons that try and run you off the road to win.

and i'm sure some of the japanese x360 people have been playing a ton of hours

i highly recommend condemned (it's a must buy if you have hd and 5.1 dolby or better)

ohhh...i remember now...good call...

i just read a really bad review for condemned...i disagree with it except for the fact that the game is short...that's the only negative i have about the game...there is more hand to hand (melee weapons) combat than what most people are used to so don't expect a game where you have guns and tons of ammo...i really like it though...

dead or alive 4, gears of war (calling it the "new halo"), saint's row ("makes san andreas look like tiny toon adventures"), dead rising (think shaun of the dead the game), final fantasy xi and the new elder scrolls are looking like must-buy games...the hands-on for those games is getting incredible feedback...

Why in the WORLD would you get NFS when Project Gotham Racing 3 is out? Seriously man, trust me on this one.

It's probably the only thing I will ever agree with Golovko on, ever, and that is noteworthy. The game is fucking beautiful.

i've been playing nfs a lot today...i REALLY like it...

i was a big fan of the last one for xbox and this one takes it to a new level with the story in career mode, graphics, sound, customizations, etc, etc...i'm really happy with this game as well...i haven't played perfect dark yet because of need for speed

I hate NFS for many, many reasons. Not the least of which being that the cars don't actually drive anything like a real car would.

And the fact that the whole "Street Racing Underground" is so stupid it sickens me to watch the rediculous voice acting and moronic setups.

And the fact that there are 51 different type of WINGS, but you can only get "a turbocharger". WHAT THE FUCK?

yeah you make some valid points, but the Kudos system pushed me away from PGR...i can't stand it even though some people love it...NFS is lots of fun, but not a driver sim like GT4 at all...

^^^the good thing is you don't HAVE to do the Kudos to enjoy the game. And they toned the system way back from the days of Metropolis Street Racer on dreamcast. the kudo system in PGR is much more about good car control than about racing with "flair".

But I wish to god GT5 would be out, hopefully the next Forza won't be far behind PGR3.

I hooked up a ps2 to my cable modem by pulling the cord from the computer and sticking it into the network cable input on the PS2.

However, when I did my setup with the internet disc that came with the PS2, it couldnt make a connection.

Any suggestions?

I wanna see if i can play online, so when I get the 360, I will be able to hook it up

Need For Speed is very, very good...I played online last night and since I only have the first Porsche I got smoked...but the single player is VERY fun...there is nothing like having a police chase DURING your race and them setting up a roadblock and spike strips...they are a lot smarter in this game too...i actually got boxed in and arrested last night by state troopers
