no killing needed...had to answer all of our questions from last epidsode. it was PERFECT. AJ is set up for killing uncle june without permission...tony, despite being shot by him i doubt would've permit which will bring more conflict BESIDES him being in a coma this season so the fate of the family is questionable.............................AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked it, I'd have liked more dream scenes, but they moved the story along with AJ and some comic relief moments from Vito.

I like where vito tries to take AJ home instead of paulie, also when he said "maybe he's a homo and he didn't have anyone to talk to about it".

"I'm gonna put a bullet in his fucking mummy head"

everytime Vito opens his mouth I want someone to kill him. ESP at the funeral he is complaining about Roseboro, the greedy fat couch farting fuck.

WOW. I thought that was an AWESOME episode. as a die hard sopranos fan, I don't think I've EVER been moved by an episode like I was with that one. A++++

oh, and to comment on a few things from the previous page: Tony tried to tell the gambling addict that he didn't want his business. that guy INSISTED on playing. him and tony were high school pals and tony didn't want him getting involved. but tony is also a business man, and if this guy is gonna talk the talk and press his luck, then he needs to deal with the consequences. same thing goes for the guy from wings.

if you think it sucked because nobody got killed, whatever

remember when they were talking about the possibility of a sopranos movie?

I would think this is exactly what it would be like. that was such a powerful episode. it's so unlike anything I've seen chase do up to this point. We've come to know tony so well over the years, and we've learned so many things about his persona, yet there's still so much we don't know. I think there's alot that even he doesn't know. also, we never really see how much tony holds that family together, and I think we're about to. I have a feeling there's gonna be alot of inner-fighting within the ranks and I figure tony is gonna come back after a very deep realization that this is his life and this is what he was born to do and then he's gonna crack some fucking skulls and wreck shop.

no, AJ has done this shit before. you don't remember when tony bought him the xterra and he said "suvs are bad for the environment. I'm gonna catch some shit for this at school."

AJ is generally a typical teenage boy, but he does show glimpses of giving a shit from time to time. it's just so funny because it's only on his terms.

I thought the focus on AJ was to emphasize that all people deal with grief differently. I did think him swearing to avenge Tony was a little out of character though and I don't think he'll follow through.

Jr. is also in jail, so I am wondering about his availability to be whacked. Hopefully AJ would be smart enough to get help so he wouldnt be the prime suspect in Jr.'s murder

It was just something for him to get in an arguement about, you see him in the next scene talking to his comatose father about sports cars.

How many episodes do you think he will be in the hospital?

Also, do you think its possible the series ends with him still in the hospital with all the drama done through all the other characters?

No fucking way

Tony either dies at the end, or kills a major character himself, possibly one of his own crew

I think the chances of Tony making a full recovery are like 15%. I think Chase spent a whole episode in the hospital to get us used to the fact that the Series will never be the same. This won't end up like Christophers gun shot wound--Tony will have permanent brain damage if he is LUCKY. We all know this is the last season so I think its reasonable to assume this is the way Tony's mob life ends. If I'm wrong, Chase is going to have to make Tony recover again and then bring him down again. I don't think there is enough time for that.

Throughout the whole episode, AJ is emotionless and even refers to his dad as Anthony Soprano. We all knew AJ feels something, but as a teenage boy it is hard to show emotions. I was just glad that he 'let it out' at the end of the episode. But then fucking Meadow just had to walk in--stupid bitch I wanted that scene to last a little longer. AJ is arguably the worst actor on the show but I was very impressed by the hospital scene. "I'm going to put a bullet in his fucking mummy head". Wow.

It's very interesting and noteworthy that Silvio assumed the role of acting boss. We all know that Tony has been coaching Chris to be the next don--and Chris is by no means ready to be the boss. But Chris was Tony's designated heir. Remember when Jackie Aprile was in the hospital, TS and Jr duked it out for acting boss. And when Carmine died Jonny Sack and Carmine Jr duked it out. I think the Sopranos family will be no different and Chris will fail to realize that he can no longer run to Tony whenever shit hits the fan. I honestly think Sil would be the best boss because he is so level-headed and intelligent. But we all know that bloodshed is inevitable in every season and so I think power struggle is obviously the outlet of violence in this season.

And I can't finish without mentioning Eddie Falcos performance last night. The hallway breakdown and the monologue in the room were 2 of the best performances by her. I usually don't even notice how good of an actress she is because I'm so used to the way Carmela is, but when she was telling tony that he will pull through this because he is a bull, I think everybody watching was rooting for tony too.
