the weather held out. I think it might have very lightly sprinkled once. We got 5 runs.

the course was a little on the short side, but it was still fun. that site is pretty small, but i thought they did a lot with it. it wasn't nearly as tight as i had expected it to be given the amount of room they had.

i had thought of skipping this event as i wasn't sure i wanted to drive all that way knowing the site was so small, but i'm glad i went.

I thought it was a pretty good course. very open which allows you to really think about and pick your line.

My gf also drove for the first time and had a lot of fun. woot.

Hah, wow. Who designed the course? Originally they said Heyward was gonna do it, but I didn't see him signed up to drive.

i was almost hoping sunday would be as tight as saturday. the only way i was able to stay ahead of that vette on saturday was because he didn't have any room to use his power.

he did on sunday though. oh well, maybe next year!

The 24hr was pretty fun. At first I didn't like the course, but after I did 10 or so runs it was better. I ended up doing 30 or 40 laps at least.

^ I missed it unfortunantly, but one of my friends drove his black wrx in it and my brother (who also went) rode shotgun with him. It was their first autoX and they said they did pretty well.

There were a lot of novices there that did quite well. I spent a lot of time riding with people trying to show them the ropes. Everyone did. It's the perfect place for your first event, since you can go out there and try different things and figure out what's fast.
