Response to a comment much earlier in the thread....

The UNC and State rivalry has gone away mostly because we don't win against them. How can you have a rivalry when you are 5-22 against them, not sure of the exact number.

I don't call that a rivalry, I call that an ass spanking....if we were to improve our record and win some games with them, as in a lot of games against them, then maybe the UNC or DUKE students would actually give a crap about us.

Herb basically ignored the questions directed at him that weren't about the game. One reporter asked him if he felt a sense of vindication, or anger that he might need to feel vindicated; Herb's response was "I don't feel any of that."

The players said the idea of Herb leaving was ridiculous.

In general, both they and Herb tried to keep the focus on the game.
