What amazes me about these things is that someone comes up with a crazy idea and posts it on some shitty site.

Then some lazy ass reporter from the N&O or Greensbor N&R prints the shit that they copied from one of the other lazy ass reporters.

Then douche bag Andy Katz prints it on ESPN.com which makes the rumor true.

Then everyone goes stupid about it.

Repeat.

Well I'm disappointed we aren't getting Kruger but not devastated.

He would have put up pretty good results I think, but he's not the young charismatic guy a lot of state fans are looking to rally behind.

Theres no particular coach available at this point that is worth a divided nation...

(Didn't see it posted)

This is quite interesting

but we are going to be if we don't sign a coach soon... wright opened back up, ced possibly out, 3 starting seniors already gone... we have tons of talent, but we need someone solid to come in soon and tighten it back up.

"Now, how is the search affecting N.C. State’s recruiting? According to recruiting guru Bob Gibbons, quite a lot. “It’s urgent,” said Gibbons of All-Star Sports. “There is a great sense of urgency because Mike Krzyzewski, Roy Williams, Skip Prosser, Oliver Purnell, Gary Williams, you name it, have been at sanctioned events so they could look at top prospects for 2007.”

Twenty-one of Scout.com’s top 50 juniors have made commitments, and there are two more open evaluation weekends left this spring. And of course, State fans know well that junior Chris Wright, who was rated one of State’s top backcourt recruits in many years, rescinded his commitment after Herb Sendek left.
"

This is what I got from that article. So in other words...our recruiting is in serious jeopardy right now.

And quit putting words into people's mouths. Most of the bitching has been about losing Chris Wright (who you conveniently said was not a bgi deal...then you said in this thread that Lon needs to hurry up and sign him back up). We'll continue to get good recruits at NC State. If we had gotten Barnes or Calipari, I bet our recruiting would have improved. With a smaller name coach...I think our recruiting will probably be a little worse or at best the same as when Sendek was starting to do before he left.

Eh, at this point we're pretty much fucked on that class anyway. We're not going to get an already-accomplished coach who has a class ready to come in, and it's too late to start recruiting a top set. So there's no reason to dwell on that.

What the next coach can do is concentrate on the following class.

You have a serious problem making distinctions.

Yes, we want Chris Wright. You guys were acting like our program was done for the minute he re-opened his recruitment.

It is important that we sign a coach relatively soon so that we keep our current recruits and have a shot with future ones...

This thing is definitely drawing out more than it should and Im almost at the point Id rather have Haith than no coach at all..

This process is ridiculously long...Bring in Haith and lets get ready to Ball. Yeah recruiting is pretty much a wrap for this season...I would like to see a coach come in and set the standard with strategy/game play; consistency; finishing games strong; and reducing the 5 min scoring droughts...

Up ur game bitches

Anyways. I'm hearing that Lee Fowler is really pushing hard for Kruger. His buyout is getting in the way right now, but Lee's trying to get around that or convince the big donors that he's worth ponying up the money to buy out.

I'm kind of liking this. I could deal with Kruger.
