^^i still think plenty of people overhype the importance of WMDs as the reason for going to War...Iraq having WMDs was 1 of 19 different things that the entire majority of Congress voted on for starting the war...they didnt just vote on "Iraq has WMDs? Go to war!"..they voted on other things as well like Saddam breaking UN sanctions, killing his own country's citizens, etc

and while its pretty clear that Iraq couldnt shoot these dud WMDs at the USA...they could still poison our soldiers like they did in the first Gulf War...they could sell these deadly chemicals to terrorists or insurgents, and they could threaten our allies in the region

There are a number of people that think that the attack on Halabja was carried out by the Iranians as it happened during the Iran-Iraq war. The initial CIA report was unsure of who the culprit was, as the attack was shortly after an Iranian attack on the town and the victims showed signs of types of gas that were used specifically by the Iranians and not the Iraqis.
