Well, he has had a really busy schedule with national commitments and all. He's just really tired. Give him some rest so he can get to 100%.

If I am not mistaken, dish network might be having a free preview for nba league pass, I noticed a couple of games were unlocked on those stations..including the charlotte/indiana game.

We're favored tonight against the Pacers so we're getting some respect I guess.

Adam has 11 points actually.

Team looks good. Hopefully Wallace is okay, we are fucked without him.

Jeter is there with Jordan, Larry Bird is there, and so is Jimmie Johnson.

Anyone else think this is hilarious? Morrison has 11 pts already and JJ Redick HASNT EVEN PLAYED for the Magic yet. Anyone who thought Redick was better than Morrison was outta their mind.

morrison looked alright, didn't shoot the ball all that well, esp. in the second half

felton had a bad game, 1 assist and 6 turnovers

overall the team looked improved, however, and I think that they will win more games

i didnt even see Jordan there but I guess he was in his luxury box the whole time...billionaire Bob and his fellow skirt chaser Leon were in floor seats, Jimmie Johnson was down there and some other NASCAR driver I think...and Bird was a couple rows behind the Pacers bench

"What the fuck is Derek Jeter doing in Charlotte?"

I heard George Steinbrenner's daughter goes to UNC-CH and she was in some play yesterday or the day before and George attended and passed out and had to go to the hospital so maybe he would've been there also

We looked pretty good overall considering...that foul against Wallace was just not a foul you commit in the 2nd quarter of a regular season game...he was down for a couple minutes but got up enough to shoot his own free throws...he seemed good enough to walk back to the locker room without too much discomfort but we will see

Morrison definitly has some potential...the turnaround 3 at the end of the 1st quarter got the whole place live, including Morrison...Okafor looked great out there...6 blocks...I think 4 of them were in the first 6 minutes of the game or so...also a solid double double for him...May looked pleasantly surprising...since Brezec was out, May started at PF and Okafor at C...Okafor would get some blocks and May would get the ensuing rebound...one thing about May is his hands are pretty good...some strong boards and some nice finesse low post shots though I wouldve preferred dunks

Looked decent overall though...can't wait to see us square off against Lebron and crew on Saturday!

This is what I like to see. I want to see more of this, especially against smaller or quicker teams like Phoenix or Detroit.

It leaves us undersized of course, but since we don't have a great center (not many teams do really) it maximizes the talent on the floor.

i agree, May had 10 and 10 last night, thats pretty good

felton left something to be desired however

and not a bad start for Morrison even though he cant guard a bank with a machine gun

props to Okafor for not twisting his ankle jumping around getting all those block

(0-1)

i'd also like to give a big fuck you shout out to danny granger

it was also funny last night, in lieu of recent incident, hearing them say "to the line...Stephen Jackson shooting two"

Well ill give a big fuck you to our front office as well then.

If they'd done the right (and obvious) thing and picked Granger instead of Sean May then last nights incident wouldnt have happened.

Sean May - 10 pts 10 rebounds 2 ast 1 block

Danny Granger - 7 pts 5 rebounds 2 ast 2 blocks

sure wish they would have made the right, and obvious pick.....

^May got a few more minutes and one more shot

They are different players, but May is solid, Granger will be awesome sometime very soon.

I thought the obvious pick was supposed to be Gerald Green

[Edited on November 2, 2006 at 3:57 PM. Reason : Biggest problem with May was that he plays the only position we didn't need an upgrade]

I wasn't trying to say who is going to more of a superstar down the road, or who played more minutes, I was just pointing out that the difference in stats isnt so huge in favor of granger, to say that charlotte was "obviously" wrong by taking may instead of granger, when they both play similar positions

"He has great hands!" how many times did we hear that over his career @ UNC from the likes of Dicky V and others?

Oh and, G-Force was back at practice today. Collective ::sigh:: everyone.

And Morrison is the third straight Bobcat on the cover of NCAA March Madness. Go Cats. Can't wait til Nov. 18th

they have always talked up Sean Mays hands

but the thing is they are right, he does have great hands for a big guy

that probably comes from his dad being a great baller in his time and working with his sons since a young age...
