^ Oh ye of little faith in the Broncos. 2 weeks into the season and they have not given up a single touchdown.

I'm thinking of picking the best team between who plays the Raiders or Bucs each week.

Tampa - 3 points in 8 quarters
Oakland - 6 points in 8 quarters

if everyone keeps stacking up on one or two games, im gonna limit the amount of people that can pick one team that week

force the late people to pick less favored teams

but, like i said, we arent there yet

I'm glad we aren't there yet, because I don't think that's the best way to fix it, punishing late picks seems so arbitrary.

I think a better idea would be to (later in the season, if necessary) eliminate vegas favorites of a touchdown or more.

I understand it's your game, just throwing the idea out there.

The way it is being run now is good...it is just week 2, and I bet over the next couple weeks people will start to fall out. No need to have cut throat rules so early. Let people adjust and fail themselves out and let the more attuned players keep rollin on...

Throw twist into the game further down the road to keep it interesting...

got 2 people going for tonight's game, but lets go ahead and get it started

If you did not play last week, THIS IS THE LAST WEEK TO JOIN IN, and you will have no byes.

Once again, the rules:

I will post the matchups for each week, pick one game, and one game only, and pick the team that you think will win.

You may not pick the same team to win as you did the previous week.

If you forget to make your pick, I will automatically give you a bye, if you dont have a bye left, then you go bye bye.

You have until noon on the day of that game to post your team.

If you change your team before the deadline, I need to see a bold, underlined [b]CHANGE

If you have HTML, just use h1

If your team wins, you "survive" to the next week.

If they lose, you "die" and are out of the game.

If your team ties, you move on to the next week, but you cannot win it all on a tie. More details if needed.

"BYES" may be used instead of making a pick for that week.

If, you team loses by 7 or less points and its a possible bullshit call causing such, you have until noon on Tuesday following the week to post "BULLSHIT" and which game it was for. You will lose ALL BYES that you have left, and you must have at least one BYE to call BULLSHIT.

In the event of a tie, and its not the last week of the season, the people tied will play a slightly different game the next week. I will post details then if I need to.

Round 4: Week 3

Sunday, Sept 24, make pick by noon EST on Sunday

Carolina at Tampa Bay
Chicago at Minnesota
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh
Green Bay at Detroit
Jacksonville at Indianapolis
N.Y. Jets at Buffalo
Tennessee at Miami
Washington at Houston
Baltimore at Cleveland
N.Y. Giants at Seattle
Philadelphia at San Francisco (girly men pick this game)
St. Louis at Arizona
Denver at New England

Monday, Sept 25, make pick by noon EST on Monday

Atlanta at New Orleans

Open date: Dallas, Kansas City, Oakland, San Diego

I also wouldn't mind, if you either start it this week or next week, that no one can pick a team to win that they have already picked. Means everyone will have to pick some average, and even poor teams. It would also bring interesting strategy, do you pick a good team over a worse team, even though later on the matchups get much tougher? or do you pick a mediocre team that you will probably have to pick sometime anyway when they play a poor team?

This is my suggestion.
