There have been 2 sellouts this year. Carolina and Duke. The # in the box score is tickets sold; this isn't the NFL. Look on gopack.com at the boxes and it confirms that.

I can't for the life of me understand how we can pack out C-F for a mediocre football team with a shitty coach and we can't fill RBC for a program who has won consistently in the ACC the last 5 years (second best record behind Duke), with a coach who the entire fanbase is behind for the first time in 15 years, and with a bunch of players who clearly feed off of the energy of the crowd. And we call ourselves a basketball school

Just so you know the tickets sold for Duke and UNC are both 19,700. The next highest attendance was Boston College at ~17,300.

The douche that runs the halftime shows just took a swipe at us during the halftime show of the Fordham game on ESPN2. Paraprhase: "It's b/c they're finally getting used to Herb Sendek's system." Dude that's just there to pitch to the commentators like Fran Fraschilla: "Well they never got used to the system at NC State, even when it got them into the NCAAs 5 straight times." But then one of the commentators was like "Hey that's Tobacco Road right there," which seemed like he was trying to say hey they command more down there than just making the tournament.
